Part 3 had been a little flat i thought, with too much emphasis on leading the viewer up a blind alley. Part 4 does something similar, but somehow does so in a way that has meat on the bone so to speak. There are still plenty of red herrings, naturally everyone is telling Sam a bunch of lies, but this time it all feels purposeful. I still don't get the dynamic between Margaret and her ex husband, introduced as a liar and a busy body with no morals, it seems that she might now be the truthful one in the affair. Some good scenes here, I liked the part where Sam visited Jill in Hospital, that was very revealing.
I wish everyone would stop seeing him in the window, and running to greet him.
Back on track, 8/10
