Montenegrin drama "Look at Me" from 2008 is a very strange film for this region. It's slow, it develops in several time lines and it's so vague and confusing that I'm not even sure how many timelines are in question. The film was so boring that I was on the verge of giving up on it all the time, and again there was a kind of hypnotizing atmosphere that kept me going little by little, step by step, to the very end. And then the story unreveled and everything I've been watching so far has become painfully clear and I was no longer sorry I "wasted" an hour and a half. An unusual and emotional movie, for its time and climate surprisingly well-acted and directed and followed by very atmospheric music. Nevertheless, although the ending puts the first hour in a completely different perspective, it does not change the fact that most of the movie is terribly boring and that many viewers will give up on it before they experience the powerful end.
