We are all simply human beings. I so hate prejudice!
brueggemanntami28 May 2020
I am a white woman. My grandpa was a cop. I have family members who are white, black, mixed race, indian, asian, christian, jewish, muslim, agnostic, atheist, heterosexual and homosexual.

I so wish that people could just accept one another. I have been lucky to have such a blended family. At the same time, I have seen all of their races, religions and sexual preferences disrespected by others. It's so very hard for me to understand. Why can't we just get along?

It is a very sad fact that black people are often targeted. I live in fear for my darker colored cousins. I know that they are good people, but some only see their skin. I cannot fathom this reasoning. This episode made me feel like crying because it shows the truth about things. Until we someday accept the fact that people are people, no matter what they look like, such things will keep happening,

Regarding wokeness complaints

Warning: Spoilers
I understand what you're complaining about. I might not agree, but I understand. This episode was handled beautifully though. There was not a wrong or right. There wasn't anyone saying there's a bad cop or a good cop. There wasn't a message of anything but an opportunity to learn and continue to grow. Yes there was an acknowledgement that we all have biases, and if you can't see that as a true statement then I don't know why you are even here. This episode dances a very gray and very real line that the entire justice department dances every day. This was beautifully executed and very fairly portrayed by all parties.

Woke Rubbish.

This episode certainly showed all of the divisiveness that exists between law enforcement and communities of color. In an effort to show implicit bias and paint all police with the broad brush of racism, this episode tries to do too much.

In this case, this episode manages to be both politically correct and offensive at the same time. This show is rapidly reaching its irrelevant yet inevitable end.

Warning: Spoilers
They tried to be relevant to the current climate, but failed miserably. It was just an accidental shooting in the end. Lazy writing.
