THE TOMB
By far my favorite episode so far.
I actually like the slower moments of this show. They do a decent job of either building up tension or further developing the relationship between Layla and Marc/Steven. All of the anti ent Egyptian stuff is genuinely interesting and the comparisons to Raiders of the Lost Ark and Tomb Raider are pretty fair.
Oscar Isaac is excellent as these characters and I continue to like May Calamawy. Ethan Hawke is also really really good.
I really like that this show feels very different from the rest of the MCU, something I also felt with Eternals and Marvel's other tv shows to a degree. None of those even feel like this. I do hope they do another season of this show though. It's evident by this point that something bigger is coming after the finale right?
Also, I loved the last scene. Really great stuff.
