I find it amazing that at the time of this review the documentary only has 6.6/10 star rating on IMDb. Over half of the ratings were either 6 or 5 out of 10 stars. Huh? I am not sure what mind blowing experience people are looking for but it is a very nicely done documentary with very good narration in both content and quality of voice of the narrator. Rightly so, it has been nominated for 3 awards and one of those award nominations was for cinematography which is nothing short of stunning. A very nice documentary on nature and the plight the various animals face as they struggle between the laws that protect on one side and laws that do not protect on the other side, for example, of the US/Canadian border. There were many things that I had not previously been aware of. Not that I am any authority but I have watched an almost endless list of Nature videos and animals videos, documentaries, etc - and I am familiar with a lot of points that many documentaries make. For me, the sign of a good documentary is one that brings forth points in which I had not been previously knowledgeable about. This documentary does this handedly. Well done. A 60-minute treat. Do not let the low numbered, mis-scored ratings fool you. Great for kids and adults. Nothing traumatizing to see and certainly not childish so as to lose the audience of a mature adult.
