What art is all about.

This episode was an absolute joy-filled thrill, so much work clearly went into making it a place of respite for every viewer to find solace in. Shown for the first time in the west during a time of global stress. Not only did the students of UA need this festival, the world did too. Oh and the song Hero Too slaps so hard that every new born baby on Earth started crying. :~D

The Best Kind of Filler Episode
alexparton-2680722 May 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This episode may not have fights between heros and villains, or make us question a characters morals. However, anyone that thinks any show (anime or otherwise) that can survive purely on action every episode needs to think about some of the most popular animes that have filler episodes )Attack on Titan, Naruto, One Piece to name a few) and its nessecary for not only taking breaks in the overall narrative, but helps some of the lesser known characters shine. Jiro shows another side of her that's been relatively hidden through the majority of the show, as well as the thing that drives Midoriya to be a hero (saving people with a smile) felt like it wasn't gonna be possible after his rescue of Eri as she seemed like she would never be happy. The fact is that they all pulled together and saved Eri from her depressing childhood and even if it's only for a little while, it's a step that is huge in multiple characters growth and path they will continue on to be heros

(This is the only review I have written for anything on IMDB, however seeing how many people were literally crying with joy with this episode, myself included, I felt it was a necessary reflection on an episode that feels like its being treated as a throw-away filler)

Doesn't feel like a filler
estebanducoing2 December 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Even from the beginning we are shown a satisfactory conclusion to Gentle Criminal, he was a well written villain with a boring approach in filler episodes but when getting to know his backstory we get to see that he actually has a conviction but he is just broken.

The best part by far was the concert in the festival, it was a vibe, we even got to see Eri finally smile after her messed up history. The energy was impressive, the music was on point and we get to see everyone in mania. I can't say more, it is beautiful.

This is lowkey one of the best episodes in the anime, emotional, a bit of action and an unmatched positive vibe. This filler episode doesn't feel like a filler episode.

What am I to be? What is my calling? I gave up giving up, I'm ready to go The futures left unseen, it all depends on me Put it on the line to follow my dream, yeah

Tried all my life I've tried to find Something that makes me hold on and never let go

Hero too, I am a hero too My heart is set and I won't back down Hero too, strength doesn't make a hero True heroes stand up for what they believe So wait and see So wait and see

What do they think of me? Who do they think I'll be? I could not care less, I don't wanna know Am I doing right? Am I satisfied? I wanna live my life like it's meant to be

Emotionally great
optimuscaliche10 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Anyone could believe that it is a very unsound episode but if we focus on the growth of the characters, their personal development and motivations ... It is one of those episodes that after so many events touches our hearts, especially with the smile of Little Eri, that great feeling of happiness that she transmits to us as spectators, is an indisputable emotional gift with a beautiful message.

Worst Second half of a season
hmnz-09327 March 2020
I have never seen such a weak second half of a season in any anime.

Like what was the second half this season meant to be exactly? I'll tell you what it was, it was childish and boring.

I know a lot of people won't agree but thats because they just blindly support the show. I agree MHA is a great anime, but be real this season hasn't been upto the standard we've seen before. Laggy, slow, filler and boring are not how i would describe any other season of this show.

And don't get me started on this episode. It was rubbish. And to top it off a half season was wasted to for this. Wow.

Very disapointed.

Bad episode
ThunderLotus15 May 2020
This episode was so cringe and childish. I'm surprised this episode even got a high rating. Probably the worst episode I have watched in the series so far.

mecharcvyas20 May 2020
Tbh.. jirou and kendo are two of my fav girl characters.. but the cringe in this episode is on par with tiktok videos... this cool down arc is certainly the worst. i mean what they have done to bakugo.... character butchered.
