The first episode of 'Doctor In The House' in 1969 contained a scene in which 'Upton' and 'Collier' had to take a dismembered arm to the St. Swithin's operating theatre. This 'In' episode revisits that premise; only this time, a hand goes missing, and the lads have to find it before Marsh does.
One of the few bright spots of Season 5 is Nigel Pegram's fine performance as 'Group-Captain Ruark'. The scene where he waxes lyrical about the 'good old days' of W.W.2 only to then confess he was never actually there is very good. But the rest of the episode is tired stuff, a clear indication the show was running on empty at this point.
Funniest moment - Ken shows the box to Sgt.Foot. We see a hand inside. In fact its Ken's own hand, inserted into a hole in the box.
