There were interesting things in the film's first half such as Father-Son relationship and the relationship between Krish (Siraj) and Diana (Anjali Nair).
But the second half (after the interval) went to totally wrong direction which ruined the whole film.
The second half strongly contradicts the film's first half to the point where I would say that they are two different films.
During school days, we see Krish as a character with sense of morality. Although Krish loves his father, still he hates his father's alcoholism. Although his father drinks and makes a mess, still Krish tries to keep the house in good order. He also expresses his dislikeness towards alcoholism to his father.
After being rejected by his first romantic interest (his class mate), Krish immediately out of nowhere becomes kind of a philanderer which doesn't make any sense since Krish is the type of character with sense of morality as stated above.
The idea of Krish becoming kind of a philanderer could have been eliminated. The scenes involving Krish and another man's bride in the film's first half should have been totally cut and it is totally out of place.
I feel that Krish's romantic feelings toward Diana (Anjali Nair) should have developed from his sympathy towards Diana due to Diana's unhappy married life. That would have made the film more interesting. Krish also grew up in a family where there is no female member. But still, the film was able to capture their romantic moments beautifully.
With the relationship between Krish and Diana, Diana knew there were risk factors between their relationship since the women in the neighborhood were already gossiping about it. But she decides to continue with the relationship since she was deeply moved by Krish's romantic attention towards her. As the film shows, Diana was never loved by her husband and she was never happy with her husband. She was also losing patience with her husband as well.
In the middle of the film (right before the interval), Diana publicly declares her love towards Krish in front of her husband and others by saying that she was the one who invited Krish into the house and Krish didn't do anything wrong. The film should have developed and continued their relationship in the second half since Diana publicly declared her love towards Krish.

For me, the biggest contradiction is a teetotaler like Krish (who held onto the sense of morality) in the film's first half immediately out of nowhere becomes an alcoholic, drug addict, and commits other morally corrupt actions in the second half of the film.
