They are human - they need help too

Good always wins. This simple truth is very important to remember, especially in our tough times.

The film "Doktor Liza" tells us about real, humanity's sense of good.

The film tells about a day in the life of Elizaveta Glinka - a delicate though incredibly strong woman who was engaged in palliative care and aid to the homeless.

"Everyone needs help and everyone deserves it," Doctor Liza was convinced.

The storyline of the picture consists of amazing stories that happen to Liza throughout the day.

Help a little girl, calm her parents down, get a diploma for the fight against the world's evil for a locksmith and urgently find a kid. It turns out that you can do a lot in one day! And you are definitely able to save a person's life.

What a wonderful cast of actors! Khamatova, Khabenskiy, Burkovskiy seem to live the lives of their heroes!

The whole film you sit and think - I want to help people in the same way. When the film is over you understand that you are able to help people too!

Nothing stops Dr. Liza

Summary

A long and exhausting day in the life of physician Elizaveta Glinka and her medical aid foundation. A woman who does not hesitate to apply, supported by her collaborators, unorthodox resources if obstacles appear and time is short, in a film that shows some difficult or painful episodes, but almost always manages to avoid the effect, prevailing the unshakable joy with which she He faces his daily task.

Review

The film follows a day in the life of the doctor Elizaveta Glinka, who is in charge of the Just Help Foundation in Moscow, in charge of providing medication and medical assistance to people who are partially or totally outside the health system, a full day of activities that do not give respite and where he deploys the necessary resources to carry them out, just when he is about to celebrate his 30th wedding anniversary.

The biopic genre always has something problematic with its choices: we have those films or series that seek to cover a life (and that many times run the risk of not delving into any of its episodes) and others that take on the challenge of privileging some period of their life or a significant, representative or culminating episode of the portrayed character.

I personally prefer the latter approach, which allows for further insight. And to this subgroup belongs this film by Oksana Karas, which is enough to paint this charming woman (a overwhelming Chulpan Khamatova) who does not hesitate to apply, supported by her collaborators, unorthodox resources if time is short. In this case, she must deal with the intervention of a policeman, Detective Kolesov (Andrey Burkovskiy), a character almost as interesting as she is.

Dr. Liza always intervenes decisively in the face of need, illness and lack, she is personally involved with patients, putting her body in and never condescending. The same determination she exhibits in front of the system and her contacts in power. The film shows some difficult or painful episodes, but almost always manages to avoid the effect, prevailing the unwavering joy with which this woman faces her daily task.

Just a day in the life of Dr. Elizabeth Glinka. And it is packed with all sorts of emotions and action. You can only wonder how someone can be like her. Inspirational stuff!

The story of a real hero
PellyTelly28 October 2020
Dr. Liza is a real hero of our time. She is the kind of person who remind others how much depends on each of them.

Elizaveta Glinka is a doctor who has been helping the homeless and terminally ill all her life.

The film "Doktor Liza", directed by Oksana Karas, tells us about one day in the life of Dr. Lisa, who, despite big family celebration, manages to help other people.

This picture definitely deserves attention. It is not as loud as some blockbuster but such simple life stories can surprise us and even make each of us a little bit better. We face an example of true kindness and mercy.

I am glad that a film in her honor was released on the screens and it'll allow a large number of viewers to find out who this woman was, why she deserves applause and why thousands of ordinary people still adore her, at whom we usually wouldn't even have a look in the street...

I'd like to recommend the film "Doktor Liza" for those who appreciate serious thoughtful cinematography. This year there weren't many really strong works worth attention. But "Doktor Liza" is positively one of them.

Helpless Russian Propaganda

The movie about very controversial person Elizaveta Glinka, who saved lives, but has become servile to Putin's regime.

Absolutely helpless script, poorest play of Khamatova in whole her career.
