Poor Thomas, wishing for something that seems exciting only for it to turn to disappointment. Thomas is right though, as engines don't go fishing because it is uncomfortable. The other engines were right to tell him that engines don't go fishing. I'm trying to think of a time where I wished for something only to feel disappointed in the end. I remember a time from long ago where I wanted a Thomas the Tank Engine 👕 but couldn't have it. Anyway, Thomas was looking for a source of water so his only option at the moment was the river. He then realized something was wrong in his boiler. It's interesting as to how this is the only episode to reference the meal combo 🐠 and 🍟's. I wouldn't recommend anyone to drink river water as it could be contaminated. I think the water in Thomas' boiler was contaminated with the river water.
