An amusing start to series three.

After Photographer Martin Scott upsets an actress on the set of a sci fi production, he is poisoned in his dark room by cyanide in his coffee. Constable Piper is on the case.

Back for a third series, and it's a fairly good first episode. Camper than a row of pink Christmas trees, full of wonderfully theatrical theatre types and over the top characters, but it's fun nonetheless.

Quite a hefty introduction, allowing the story a good deal of time to develop, not too difficult to work out Whodunnit, but it's an enjoyable episode nonetheless.

Always wonderful to see the beautiful Anoushka Hempel, John mentions Zodiac, and if you haven't seen it, I'd recommend it, it's a cracking series.

I've been Rewatching Cluedo, and I'd argue this show is superior in most ways. I'm just loving Jon Pertwee's shirt and jacket combination.

Good to see a young Simon Rouse, who somehow manages to look and seem a little bit wet.

Lots of fun.

7/10.
