- The women on the tribe use their powers of seduction to test the only man remaining in the game. Will he fight temptation or will it cost him the game?
- Amanda heads back to camp, high on the surprise play of the Hidden Immunity Idol and trying to repair things with Cirie and Parvati. Erik, meanwhile, feels like a big goober and is practically desperate to get sent to Exile to search for the new Hidden Idol. And he's wearing glasses, which somehow doesn't make him seem smarter. But he does know he can't trust anyone.
Day 34
Amanda, Parvati and Cirie feel strong about their alliance and worry about Erik or Natalie to going to Exile. They think maybe they can convince Erik they're on his side, through Amanda.
She tries to get Erik to team up and send Parvati to Exile, per the ladies' plan, and promises to share any award with him if he'll do the same.
Challenge time.
They're answering questions from past seasons of Survivor. The winner gets a helicopter flight to a luxury resort for a massage, meal and overnight stay.
Jeff reminds them this is the last tribal council where the hidden idol is in play. First question: In which season did a contestant have a pet snake? Erik and Cirie get it right: Rupert on Pearl Islands.
What season did a shark bite a Survivor and the Survivor bit it back? Natalie and Amanda are right with Survivor: All-stars, Richard Hatch.
In which season did a tribemate ask another to pee on their hand after being stung by a sea urchin? Erik gets it right with Survivor: Marquesas. John asked Kathy to pee on his hand.
During which season was one castaway evacuated after falling into the fire? Cirie, Parvati and Erik get it: Australia. Michael fell in the fire. (When Erik was 14 years old.)
If Erik gets the next one, he wins.
During which season did they first divide the castaways into four tribes? Cirie, Natalie and Erik get it: Exile Island.
Erik wins. He sends Parvati and picks Amanda to go with him. Leaving Cirie and Natalie to stay behind and pretend they aren't scheming against each other.
Natalie is steamed Erik didn't send her to Exile or take her with him on the reward. Cirie tries to stoke her anger.
Erik and Amanda bond on their reward trip. Erik shares his insecurities over dinner and resolves to be an "ice cream man instead of an ice cream boy."
Parvati enjoys her alone sunning time on Exile, saying she might not even bother to look for the Idol.
Day 35
Erik and Amanda return, to Natalie's silent treatment.
Cirie and Erik scheme about sending Amanda or Natalie home and Natalie hears the whole thing.
She's angry that the guy she's been plotting against for days is returning the favor.
Later, Cirie, with Natalie there, spills everything to Amanda. They laugh at his foolishness for telling them each different things. He realizes, too late, that perhaps he erred in not expecting the women to talk.
Amanda tells him in private to pick a side. "I've made so many mistakes," he said.
He thinks winning the next immunity challenge is key.
Challenge time.
Parvati comes back. There's a race course laid out.
They're solving puzzles that give them clues on where to dig for the next puzzle piece. First to finish all three wins.
Erik finds his clues first, followed by Cirie then Amanda.
He moves onto the second and solves it, clearly in the lead.
He finds the third bag of clues, with a huge lead. He finishes the puzzle and wins immunity again.
Back at camp, Natalie has a big problem. She tries to get the women to tell her if she's out. Cirie says probably.
Cirie wonders if maybe Natalie can convince Erik to give her the immunity necklace and tell him they're going to vote Amanda out. Natalie thinks it's too ridiculous to work, but says she'll try it.
She starts working her magic on him, suggesting that she, he and Cirie vote Amanda out. The minute Natalie says he'd give her the necklace he says he won't consider it. But she says he needs a "pivotal move" to win a jury vote.
Erik tries to get Cirie to vote for Amanda without his having to give up the necklace. She says she can't trust him without the gesture.
He starts to actually look like he's considering it. Cirie says blasting him at tribal might put him over the edge.
Erik suggests to Natalie that they vote Parvati because she might have the hidden immunity necklace.
Cirie says she'll go with anything to reel him in, calling it "the ultimate Jedi mind trick."
Tribal Council.
Eliza, Ozzy, Jason, James and Alexis come in for the jury.
Jeff asks Erik why he brought Amanda on his reward after she ripped him at the last council.
Parvati calls out Erik for having tried to make an alliance with everyone. He asks for forgiveness. Amanda says that means nothing, she piles on, telling him that taking her on his reward wasn't enough. The chicks gang up on the ice cream scooper. He flounders. Melts under the pressure, even.
He apologizes a lot, squirming. He tells Jeff he needs redemption to get jury votes.
On a side note: Ozzy came to council wearing a poncho, managing to look more ridiculous than the people who haven't bathed regularly in more than a month.
Jeff asks Erik if he wants to give up the Immunity necklace. He makes a little speech about actions speaking louder than words. He says he wants to give individual immunity to Natalie. The jury busts a gut.
Erik votes for Parvati, saying he has to hope people keep their word. Natalie votes for Erik, so does Amanda. They're dumbfounded that he fell for it.
Cirie also votes for Erik. The only one feeling any suspense on the vote results is Erik. Parvati, who also voted for him, said that Erik will go down as "the dumbest Survivor ever in the history of Survivor."
Ozzy in his poncho looks less ridiculous than Erik right now.
Jeff asks for the hidden immunity idol. Parvati, who may or may not have it, does nothing.
Jeff reveals the votes. Poor, poor Erik. He starts to realize his mistake. "You guys drive me crazy," he says, almost laughing. James celebrates: "I've lost my reign as dumbest Survivor ever!"
The women hug and wave him on his way. "I think that is what you call a life lesson," Jeff says.
Four women head into the finale.
"Damn, damn! They got me! I should have known better. Those damn girls," Erik says by way of good-bye, sounding like he feels dumb, not angry. "There's one thing to be said for surviving the elements there's another to be said about surviving four crazy, sexy women. I never thought I would be shoulder-to-shoulder with all these people that I've seen on TV. These are my heroes and they're talking to me, they acknowledged me as a person. This whole experience is indescribable."
Here's betting the remaining ladies will have some good descriptive words for his exit.
