This episode was written by the writers of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000) as part of a ploy by the network to have writers from both shows write an episode for the other's show.
As part of the "CSI" parody, the lines that follow the opening scene, "MEN! MEN! - MEN! MEN!", are sung to the tune of "Who Are You", by The Who, which was used as the opening theme song of "CSI".
Episode title spoken by Evelyn, to detective Wes Tosterone (Michael Lowry).
The same week this episode aired, CSI aired an episode called Two and a Half Deaths which for a moment showed Charlie Sheen, Jon Cryer, and Angus T. Jones.
