- Alan has a crush on Charlie's new older girlfriend and Charlie discovers that he "dated" his girlfriend's son's fiancée. Meanwhile, Alan tries to get Jake to study for his algebra exam.
- Charlie blatantly rejects his cynical claim that his mother issues compromise his unconsummated relationship with otherwise perfect Angie, which is further jeopardized after he meets her adult son Jeremy's fiance Tricia, realizing she is one of his ex-girlfriends, who can't forget him, but he refuses to take her back, yet is blamed when she still calls off the wedding, part of jealous Alan's plan to sabotage Charlie, whose place he fails to take. Meanwhile, Alan tries to get Jake to study for his Algebra exam, but lazy Jake has other ideas, like scoring above the 67% required to pass is 'waste', never mind being a slacker like his doted uncle, whom Angie also blamed for his openly-realistic view on the incorrigible brat.—KGF Vissers
- Charlie meets with his therapist, Dr. Friedman, and shes unable to convince him of his mommy issues. Alan is her next appointment and tells her that he has feelings for Angie. He also reveals his plans to steal her from Charlie, eventually declaring an outright war for Angies heart. As a response Charlie feels the only way to secure Angie is to sleep with her. He does and its absolutely great. Charlie meets Mikes fiancé, Trisha, and they both realize that they know each other. Trisha discovers she still has feelings for Charlie. Later, he shows up to Angies house to find her drunk and miserable because her son called off the wedding after finding out that Trisha still has feelings for Charlie. Its over for Angie and Charlie, and Alan doesnt even stand a chance.
