Powerful...Moving...Touching...MAJOR SPOILERS...

Warning: Spoilers
I have known for a while, that Kevin Durand is one class act performer, but not until I saw Maury Sterling in this (after his hilarious performance in Smokin' Aces a few years back) did I realize that both men - together - are an unstoppable team.

Wow...what can I say about such a tear-jerking short film of mammoth proportions? Carl is a Nazi deserter, a Doctor/Medic and Moe is a Jewish-American soldier, the last of his unit and by happenstance do they stumble upon each other in the frigid wilderness, Moe suffering from an undisclosed injury and Carl suffering from severely frostbitten fingers.

While Carl is downtrodden, beaten down by a guilty conscience and the horror of what he's not only done, but seen during the war, Moe still has some fight in him...but also a kind heart that he opens up to Carl, as he calls him, "a Jew-loving-Nazi-doctor." The emotions are real, including tears and the gentle sentiments of this movie, will take your breath away.

For this movie to be only 13 minutes and 25 seconds, it could have been any story, any time during WW2 and probably did happen in one way or another.

I simply can't say enough about this movie and feel that if you can't feel every pain, every emotion these two stellar actors feel as they pull off incredible performances filled with gut-wrenching realism...then you aren't alive.
