Update: I hear Diana Robina may return to the Lionsgate fold and is in conversations about a possible corporate position there. Exclusive: TV Guide Channel has canceled its entertainment news show Hollywood 411. The last edition of the weekly celebrity newsmagazine anchored by The Bachelor host Chris Harrison will air this Sunday. As a result of the cancellation, 25 production staff positions associated with the show are being eliminated. The network is in discussions with Harrison, who also has hosted TV Guide red-carpet coverage, about possible future hosting and producing opportunities. The cancellation comes a couple of weeks after programming head Diana Robina quietly exited TV Guide Network after a year-and-a-half stint as Evp Programming and Marketing, though I hear the two are not related. TV Guide Network did try different formats with Hollywood 411, which started off as a weekly magazine, then switched to a daily and then to a...

TV Guide Network's Hollywood 411 talked to The Bachelorette's Ashley Hebert about Monday's new episode (8/7c on ABC). "Things start to really heat up very quickly," Hebert tells 411. "I have a great first date and a little bit of a roller coaster with one of the guys." In an exclusive sneak preview, she finds herself in what could be a legally binding marriage and faces off with bad guy Bentley.
Bachelorette and Hollywood 411 host Chris Harrison reveals, "On an upcoming episode, things happen with Bentley unlike anything you've ever seen. There's not a person in America who won't have an opinion of Bentley," he says. "It wasn't just TV drama. It almost stopped production on the show — that's how major this was."

With evvvvveryone talking about The Bachelorette's finale and After the Final Rose special this week, host Chris Harrison is having a moment. And now he's got a new deal to prove it: The affable reality star (and beloved EW blogger!) will be producing and hosting red carpet coverage for the TV Guide Network, where he already anchors and produces the weekly entertainment news show Hollywood 411. He and Dancing With the Stars' Carrie Ann Inaba, who are replacing Joey Fatone and Lisa Rinna, will be chatting up stars at awards shows and major events, starting with the Emmys on Sept. 20. Harrison's goal, in both his hosting and producing capacities, is to make TV Guide Network the red carpet destination for both stars and viewers seeking "a good interview. There are just too many people covering the red carpet who make it about themselves. I'm not the story. The day is about Brad and Angelina.

TV Guide Network continues its transformation under its new ownership team by revamping its signature red carpet coverage.
The cable network has inked talent deals with "The Bachelor" host Chris Harrison and "Dancing With the Stars" judge Carrie Ann Inaba to be the network's new red carpet hosts.
The duo will make their debut with the live red carpet show at the Emmy Awards on Sept. 20 and front the network's coverage of the 2010 Golden Globes, SAG Awards, Grammy Awards and Academy Awards.
In addition to hosting the two-hour live preshows, Inaba and Harrison will headline other awards show-related programming for TV Guide.
Inaba will host one-hour "Fashion Wrap" specials following key shows, and Harrison will host a one-hour preview special for each awards event.
"Red carpet specials have traditionally been our highest-rated events -- tentpoles that viewers associate with TV Guide Network," network president Ryan O'Hara said.
