The wraps are finally coming off the brilliant-sounding Doctor Who Celebration event, which is heading to ExCeL (blame them for the bizarre capitalisations there, not us) in London from Friday 22nd November to Sunday 24th November.
It's been confirmed that headlining the event will be Matt Smith, and he's not going to be the only Doctor in attendance. Tom Baker will be attending on Saturday 23rd November, whilst Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy will be there for the entire three days. Furthermore, there's a whole bunch of events, panels, stunt workshops, quizzes, games and such like to keep you occupied. On top of that, there are more guests yet to be announced. Might the new Doctor be one of them, we wonder...

Sylvester McCoy has claimed that none of the "20th century Doctors" will feature in the Doctor Who 50th special.
McCoy told Digital Spy that he does not expect to join Matt Smith and David Tennant in the anniversary episode.
"The 20th century Doctors haven't heard anything," said the actor, who first played the Seventh Doctor in 1987. "I don't know about the 21st century Doctors, but we from our century have not been asked to do it. We old Who-ers have not been asked to go along."
The Scottish star added that he thinks old Doctors "should" feature in the special, since "the fans are desperate for it".
"All of us want to do it, just for the fans - because that's what they want," he explained. "But we've heard nothing - Tom Baker's heard nothing, Colin Baker, Peter Davison, Paul McGann… none of us have heard anything."

Each week a new "episode" will be posted that was submitted by Caprica fans like you! The site launches next Tuesday and is appropriately titled "Beginning of Line". From the Press Release:
Beginning Of Line Continues Caprica Where Syfy Left Off
by Teresa Jusino
In addition to being a fun and worthwhile pursuit in its own right, fan fiction has proven to be the lifeline through which its source material can continue to exist.

Scary action in a malevolent jungle environment makes this Baker adventure worth a second look...
In the days before Doctor Who guidebooks became as common as the cold, fans did have one or two hefty reading tomes at their disposal. The Making Of Doctor Who was one such indispensable book, not to mention the Programme Guides, and then in the 1980s, there were the big blockbuster books from Peter Haining. Happy days I remember thinking that I’d never be able to afford the Celebration book, and to a nine-year-old, it was like the Holy Grail. All these years later, though, I’m in possession of a dusty old copy, which also contains a handy quick guide to every TV story up to and including Peter Davison’s second season.
I only mention this because of the Planet Of Evil blurb. Reading it, you could be forgiven that this “deep...
