Taught Me How To Live Life - WARNING - Lots Of Crying
vivianla26 July 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This episode was bittersweet but in the good way.

The beginning was a bit slow.

I recognize so many of the actors in this drama and I love how they came together in this drama. Gang-hwa - Doctor Stranger, the elderly ghost - I Summon You Gold, Yu-ri's mom - The Heirs, Kim Tae-hee - recognize her as she is known as Korea's beauty, etc.

Seo-woo puts a band-aid with duckies on stepmom's hand and blows on it.

Seo-woo starts salivating in the daycare so the daycare workers immediately rush her to the hospital. Stepmom comes rushing in later.

Yu-ri follows stepmom outside the hospital and she looks so beautiful. Kim Tae-hee looks beautiful in this episode, right after episode 15 where in my opinion she looked the most beautiful.

The college friend is one of those friends you always want. I like her straightforward attitude, caring heart and her style. She is the one with the short hair and she isn't stuck-up at all.

Yu-ri's mom says Yu-ri will always live in her heart.

Yu-ri prepares for her parting. She writes what she plans to do before leaving. We see her carry out these plans.

First she takes her closest ghost friends to eat grilled meat and drink. She has talismans ready so they would be able to physically consume the food and drink.

Yu-ri asks if they need anything else but they are happily satisfied with just this. They say everyone goes through life with their relationships and move on. Even ghosts do so. In the next life let's meet again there, okay?

She has fun with her family at the park.

She enjoys doing mom tasks. She eats some sort of sundae with Seo-woo.

Lastly the kids and women are in one car and the men in another. They are going camping.

At the camping grounds the scene looks clean, cozy and beautiful. The lighting is so nice. Yu-ri looks good in her camping clothes and jacket.

Yu-ri says coming back to life after being a ghost made her really appreciate everything and she is satisfied. She was able to hug Seo-woo, see her family again, etc. She really enjoyed the simple things and it is enough for her.

Gang-hwa says he wanted to grow old with Yu-ri. He wants to see Seo-woo graduate, get married, have children. When they are old and grey he would have said they did a great job.

Yu-ri gives Seo-woo a last hug and Seo-woo says "Goodbye mom". That made me cry the hardest. Seo-woo knew who she was.

Yu-ri is with the shaman for the last time. They are at a path with flowery trees. Yu-ri walks down the path and narrates to her loved ones - You have to answer yes to two questions to be reborn as human again - 1. Did you enjoy/like your life? 2. Did you make those around you happy?

Fast forward and Seo-woo is a teen. She walks down the same path Yu-ri walked on with her parents.

This episode is worth it to rewatch for the lessons.
