This is a very unusual and creative animated film. Ostensibly, the film maker, Jeff Chiba Stearns, is addicted to using post-it notes and decides to use this odd addiction for a film. You hear Jeff narrate as lovely music plays and you see what he is talking about play itself out on the post-its. Some of it consists of just odd little blurbs--notes on things to do. Some of it consists of drawings and they seem to magically come to life and morph. All this is done by using thousands of post-it notes instead of traditional clear acetate for animation and it manages to both capture the viewer's attention and tell a story well.
Sadly, when I checked out his web page, there wasn't much on it--I was really hoping for more animations, as YELLOW STICKY NOTES is a talented and clever piece.
