The Doctor is very good at saving the world, but very poor at sitting still. So when he’s stuck waiting a full year for an invasion to start, it gives a new meaning to cabin fever. The Year of the Slow Invasion, the year The Doctor got involved in Amy and Rory’s life and not the other way around. A very personal episode (featuring the entire world), rife with spoilers, so sit back, and keep your eye on the box.

There are many, many reasons why Back to the Future and its subsequent sequels are still regarded as three of the best films ever made. To fully explore each one would be a massive undertaking, yet beyond the laughs, pop culture references and complete zaniness, lies a story with actual heart. It's the story of two men, seventeen-year-old High Schooler Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) and “crazy wide-eyed old man who claims to be a...

Hell yeah! The Back to the Future trilogy is finally coming to Blu-Ray and here's the trailer for the must own 25th Anniversary Special edition Blu-ray! The discs will be available for purchase on October 26th 2010.
According to Writer/Producer Bob Gale this Blu-ray collection was well worth the wait:
The HD transfers for all three films are simply breath-taking…They actually look better than they did in the theater because of the incredible job that was done on dirt clean-up. (And the film grain is preserved, so they still look like movies should look.)
Check out the trailer below as well as the full specs of what will be available on the discs. I can't wait to watch this movie on Blu-ray! It will be like watching it for the first time.

Not completely unexpectedly Universal have chosen to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the seminal 80s movie Back to the Future by releasing a Blu-ray trilogy box set.
Now, we’re already sold on this. These films hold up very well today and the first film in particular benefits from one of the tightest screenplays ever, and the chance to see the trials and time travel tribulations of Marty McFly in 21st century high definition is too good to pass up.
Although don’t be too surprised in five year’s time if we don’t see a hologram version of the trilogy, just like that Jaws 19 advert…
Here’s what Coming Soon said will be coming to the discs…
Bonus Features Exclusive To Blu-ray™:
* U-control: Universal’s exclusive signature feature allows viewers to learn more about their favorite film without ever leaving the movie.
o Setups & Payoffs: As you...

On October 26, 2010 Universal Studios Home Entertainment will drop a Blu-ray collection of the Back to the Future trilogy featuring two hours of never-before-seen material.
In the summer of 1985 the first Back to the Future film hit theaters and became an instant hit, eventually going on to be that year's highest-grossing film. Part II and Part III followed in 1989 and 1990, with both sequels shot at the same time but released six months apart. The Back to the Future trilogy has grossed $936 million dollars worldwide and still continues to be remembered by its fans 25 years after Marty McFly first stepped into Doc Brown's time travelling DeLorean.
For the Blu-ray release more than two hours of all new bonus features have been added, including an all-new, six-part retrospective documentary featuring never-before-seen interviews with the cast, crew and filmmakers, including Michael J. Fox, for the definitive Back to the Future experience.

Hey Gang! Universal Pictures is finally going to release Back to the Future trilogy on Blu-ray! They will be sold as a “25th Anniversary Trilogy” and will be available for purchase on October 26th 2010.
I've patiently been waiting for Back to the Future to make its way to Blu-ray, and it looks like the waiting is going to pay off. Writer/Producer Bob Gale had this to say,
The HD transfers for all three films are simply breath-taking…They actually look better than they did in the theater because of the incredible job that was done on dirt clean-up. (And the film grain is preserved, so they still look like movies should look.)
I'm also really looking forward to watching the new documentaries on the making of these films that will come with the Blu-ray collection. Here are the full on Details and Specs for the new Blu-ray trilogy. Check them out below!

On July 3, 1985, history was made. Or, more accurately, re-made. The potent combination of a mad scientist, a lovable loser and angry Libyan terrorists delivered one of the most memorable films of the '80s: "Back to the Future." This Saturday's July 3 happens to be the 25th anniversary of the film's release. To celebrate, NBC Universal has finally announced the hi def treatment that fans have been waiting for: the "Back to the Future" trilogy will arrive on Blu-ray and in an all-new special edition DVD on October 26, 2010.
There are a bunch of awesome new extras to look forward to. Exclusive to the Blu-ray is a half-hour vintage behind-the-scenes special hosted by Leslie Nielson which aired before the first TV screening of the initial movie. There's also the obligatory "newly filmed" retrospective documentary, vintage extras from previous releases, deleted scenes, feature commentaries, a hoverboard test and -- let's face it, the...

Hollywoodnews.com: This is the best news you’ll hear all day. Aside from the now-completed “Toy Story” trilogy, “Back the the Future” is the second-closest bid for movie-making perfection. Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd brilliantly bridged the past and the present for a trio of wildly inventive tales that broke box-office records around the world. And now they are prepared to conquer a new realm: Blu-ray.
These Blu-rays have been on fans’ radars for years. Universal finally has coughed up a solid release date, though. “The Back to the Future 25th Anniversary Trilogy” will debut on Blu-ray on Oct. 26. More than two hours of all new bonus features have been added, including an all-new, six-part retrospective documentary featuring never-before-seen interviews with the cast, crew and filmmakers, including Michael J. If my heart didn't belong to my dear Anthony Daniels (C3PO), Dr. Michio Kaku would definitely be my nº1 hottie for my "hotties over 60" category.
He has gifted us with "Sci-fi Science: Physics of the impossible", a 12 episode series about amazing technologies that today only exist in the wonderful Science Fiction imagination, such as Lightsabers, Travelling to a parallell Universe, Time Travel, Invisibility, Teleportation...
The last episode aired on February 16th 2010, but only now it's getting here in Portugal, but since no one else (not even Americans that I talk to) know about it, I decided to advertise here this great show.
Enjoy!
