All quiet on the Nickelodeon's Front
MarcusCyron9 November 2023
I really don't expect much from shows on Nickelodeon or the comparable shows on Disney. But so little innovation, so much everything-is-just-copied-from-other-shows, that's really rare. Not one idea of their own. Really everything already existed elsewhere. And always better. Whether the composition of the characters, the lame stories or the series orientation.

Boredom is inevitable. It may be that in pre-internet times it was once enough to rerun the same stories for each new generation, only with new faces and slightly modernized equipment. But where pretty much everything is always present for everyone, that is simply no longer enough. The clever youngest, the patchwork siblings (of course the male is the wimp, she is the strong one, because it can't be any other way these days) and the parents are close to madness. In addition, hardly any of these series can do without singing. The only positive thing is that the sports obsession of other series doesn't exist here. The series is so sub-mediocre that it's not even trash good anymore.

So, let's be honest - 13 episodes, that's enough.

This show is pretty good.

Warning: Spoilers
I've watched this show two times already. I love the first episode. The ending is amazing. The songs at the end of the every episode are surprisingly good. The only bad thing about this show is sometimes a bit awkward. Erin and Aaron are always getting into fights as step- siblings. Waring : Natasha is extremely strong for her age. This show is the classic family story. Chuck and silva are a wonderful couple. The last two episodes are very suspenseful. There are a bit of romance in the last few episodes. Especially between Vivian and Hunter. I would recommend watching it at least a couple times. But after while It does get a little bit boring.

Victoria.

Cliche & Cliché

Where to start with this one?

I was watching this with my daughter and after a couple of minutes thought "this is bad", it has half the quality of Disney/Nick shows from 10-20 years ago and double/triple the cliches, it was so bad I came to see who was behind it, just to discover it's actually a Nickelodeon show! (I was watching on Netflix).

I know they fired Dan Schneider obviously but he was there for so many years, nobody learned nothing from him? (I'm talking about the good parts).. I could probably do a top 30+ cliches this show has and to see people reviewing as one of the best from Nick in the last couple of years is just terrible.

Go watch reruns from Victorious, Henry Danger and Wizards of Waverly Place with your kids.

What happened to Nickelodeon?
tjisaiah16 November 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I grew up during the 2000's prime of Disney and Nickelodeon. Having grown up with shows such as That's So Raven, Hannah Montana, Wizards of Waverly Place, iCarly, Victorious...I often find myself wondering how we got here. While Disney Channel has managed to keep itself afloat past its prime, Nickelodeon hasn't had a hit show since 2013 when they prematurely canceled Victorious. I came across this show on Netflix and decided to give it a go just out of curiosity to see what Nickelodeon was producing for the kids these days. Not even 10 minutes into the first episode, I immediately recognized the plot from somewhere. It all seemed so familiar. I couldn't quite put my finger on it....

Drake & Josh This show is literally Drake & Josh. The entire idea is stolen from Drake & Josh. You can't make this up. Nickelodeon has officially run out of ideas. Honestly, Nick and Disney should just wrap it up. Children's TV is dead. The era I grew up in is long gone and I sincerely pity the kids of today who have to grow up with THIS.

Great Show
r-5576021 April 2023
Nickelodeon's best show in a while. Really happy with it! Plus, it has the girl who played Alex Mack from The Secret World of Alex Mack! And if people say it's bad, just don't listen to them. Most people who come on this website to write reviews just do it because they hate the show after watching the first episode and giving it a fair chance. It's a great show, and you should watch it before you go dissing on it. I am very excited for new episodes of the show next week. I remember seeing the first ever promo for this at this kids' choice awards when the cast of the monster high movie unveiled it.

Another show nobody asked for
NuovoCinema30 November 2023
Apparently, good writers are scarce these days, and "Erin and Aaron" is a proof that Nickelodeon couldn't get anyone for this uninspired, lame show.

It's hard to find an intelligent line in this show composed by sketches already done before a hundred times. Instead, the show is filled with stupid situations like the little girl successfully bribing her art teacher with banned cookies to be granted with an A+ grade and other examples I prefer not to describe fully here. It's also really sad to watch Larisa Oleynik reciting dull dialogues and I can't understand why some so called writers find funny to include a boy with crutches just to mock at him.

As to Ava Ro, I can see she's got some talent for comedy and can sing a little, that's why it would be better for her to quit this nonsense and pursue some really worthy projects (see Olivia Rodrigo, she starred in a terrible Disney show and now she's got three Grammy Awards). The rest of the cast is like... nothing to see here (Sorry, Larisa).

Finally, I strongly advise you to skip this show. Nickelodeon won't give your 25 minutes per episode back and you should spend that time watching a real comedy instead.

Great family show with music!
gsdgrg30 June 2023
This show is fun for the whole family to watch-kids and adults! How rare is that?!?!?!

There arent many shows parents can watch with their school aged children that are good clean family fun these days but.....Erin & Aaron has sure delivered! This show is fun, wittty and keeps the entire family entertained. The music is great and catchy. Our kids love the songs and even request them on Spotify! We enjoy the music too, there are songs in almost every episode.

And little Natasha...that kid steal the show...what a great little actor. Every scene with the little sister in it is a winner, she is fantastic!

Our whole family really hopes that it gets renewed for a second season.

Kudos to the production team at Nickelodeon; great show all around from casting to final product!

Best New Show
rrrtist-5499211 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Did you see the "Erin and Aaron" promo at the Kid's Choice Awards? It was great. The two main actors are musically talented and very funny too. How they got to ride a real piano down a flight of stairs is anybody's guess. And just wait until the second episode, I really liked it! The cast has the actress who played Alex Mack from the Nickelodeon show, "The Secret World of Alex Mack", and she is really good. It's about a blended family. Chuck, the stepdad, is funny and worth watching. The best part is the youngest daughter talks her parents into getting her a mini pony. I am looking forward to watching new episodes.

Nickelodeons best in these modern days
julianiscoolha29 July 2023
This is Nickelodeon's best show in recent times. I hope they continue this show because it does have potential and I really do think this the networks best work from the past 3 years. It's genuinely funny, the actors are great, the dynamic between the characters are fun & genuine, and it has heart. That's something really important about shows, especially ones made by networks like Nickelodeon. It's nice to Larisa Oleynik come back to Nickelodeon, so that's a nice especially for older & newer audiences since if you grew up watching Alex Mack then you're in for a nice treat, and if you're a youngster then you get to be introduced to her and her amazing work. Erin & Aaron is rock, and so does the them song. Erin & Aaron a fun family show that deserves to be continued.

A fun show for everyone
marydavey15 November 2023
In my opinion, the show follows a similar style to shows like Hannah Montana and Suite Life - and there's nothing wrong with that!

It's a great, easy to watch pick-me-up that is enjoyable for a range of ages.

Obviously it is a kids show but sometimes there's nothing better as an adult than being able to switch off and simply watch something without complicated storylines.

The songs are all catchy with funny undertones and it's awesome to see a show that encourages diversity and girl boss energy!

I wish shows were like this when I was growing up as seeing multiple independent, confident girls on TV would've been so inspiring - even now watching Erin and Aaron as an adult, it gave me an unexpected confidence boost.

If you've got a daughter that's struggling or shy, this show is a game-changer!

My kids (8) and (5) love this show
jamesmagid2 January 2024
For better or worse, they love this show. There are some funny moments, a fair amount of questionable parenting, and the focus on original music is nice. The laugh track itself gives me some nostalgia to similar shows made in the 90s. It's a little tortured in places and the story line doesn't always make a lot of sense, but I think that's on brand for what the show is trying to be. I do hope they make a second season of this show, as I do think it has some great potential for future story lines given where season one ended. Also, a few of the songs are really catchy, whether I like it or not. Do I find myself singing "Cash for boots" under my breath from time to time? Yes. Yes I do.

Highly Annoying
statmanjeff9 January 2024
Combines the set layout of Henry Danger with the Joke-VomitOfLaughter-Joke-VomitOfLaughter style of Two & a Half Men with exceedingly crass parents and with an irritatingly mean little girl in the likes of Drake & Josh and Henry Danger but without any of the charm or appeal of Megan and Piper. Determinedly watched all episodes and succeeded (taking several days in-between to recover). The presentation either calmed down a little by the seventh episode of I simply acclimated to it. Typically vapid modern-day adolescent pop music. (Loved only the hard rock guitar song about an astronaut dog by a competitor in episode 13 - sounded really good). Blame everything on the script, kept deliberately dumb but given high octane fuel. Cast seems all right (replaceable but competent). Highly unrealistic. Filled with lame ideas ('cause all the good ones have been taken?). Too much of an unrelenting formula pounded repeatedly into the public.

Very lively show, super talented cast
vbemail-social29 November 2023
We love, love, love this show. When we first watched this show, we didn't know what it was all about. I'm glad we clicked on it. It has a unique story of a blended family how each member survives the transition in a funny, loving way. Thanks to Netflix and Nickelodeon.

Ava Ro, aside from being a super talented singer is very natural, funny and sassy. All the characters are super talented.

Glad to see Larisa Oleynik back, she's still pretty as ever.

No boring episodes, here, all fun, talents and clean family show.

Shot out to girl boss Pyper Braun. Super cute, yet super sassy.

This is one of the Nickelodeon family shows that is worth watching. We have watched it more than 20x and still watching.

Whoever give bad reviews and bored to this show are just plain haters.

Can't wait for more seasons!
