Funny Family-safe Movie
gcmfrompsu15 November 2022
My family loved the Game Changer.. It was funny and entertaining.

For adults the movie depicts real life scenarios where we chose poorly and got ourselves in trouble. Afterwards, we can laugh about it and but during the time we can feel pretty bad about messing up.

So the Game Changer follows the life of a guy who was living large and messed up big time.

When we finds himself coaching some kids, as required by the court we see him change from a selfish, self absorbed rich guy to important mentor in the life of the kids on a baseball team.

The kids in the movie are cute and funny. It is was done and entertaining.

Great Family Messaging
brndnrichey2 November 2022
I thought the Game Changer provided a very different message than what most of us are use to seeing in today's movies.

Although this movie is definitely a family friendly project the Game Changer also did a good job of portraying a few comical scenarios that both adults and kids can enjoy together.

It provided a great message on individual growth and how one can do so while also building an unexpected life with family. I would definitely recommend this movie to families that want to enjoy a good movie and message with their kids.

If you're interested in reinforcing such a message with your family I would recommend this movie.

Best family film comedy I've watched in a long time
brendapopa31 October 2022
Game Changer is a great family film with a good moral story. Great for all ages, especially kids! We watched it with our friends and their kids and they absolutely loved it, their kids watched it multiple times now. The plot is great, and the acting is phenomenal, especially from the main cast. I was very touched and impressed by the scene with Joel DeVisser and Corbin Bernsen (father and son reconciliation). Overall I highly recommend Game Changer movie! It's funny, emotional, with a great moral story, and fit for all ages. We need more family-friendly films like this that are both entertaining and have a great moral story.

I thought the cast was great and some of the kids in the movie are quite talented wth so many here in Georgia.

I spent time speaking with Joel DeVisser about this movie and the mission. I love what he is doing. You are supporting a great cause buy sharing this movie with others and you get to enjoy a fun story. So grab a drink, popcorn and sit back, relax and enjoy the movie.

Great Acting and Hilariously Funny!

If you want clean, wholecome, funny comedy that the entire family can enjoy then this IS that movie! There is a clear message of how we all can learn from the past and chart a better course in life! So get the kids and get the popcorn and enjoy! This one is a "Game Changer"! : ) In addition to great entertainment, watching this movie supports missions and missionaries in the field. The writer, director and actor in this film, Joel DeVisser, has a vision and a mission that takes the proceeds from his films and provides for the needs of others. It's a Movie, Mission, Ministry that will change the way movies are made in the future!

Funny and Heartwarming Film
JBHeinous11 September 2022
Game Changer is a new classic, in the vein of The Sandlot, Little Big Leauge, Rookie of the Year, The Rookie, Major League and Major League 2 except this is the only baseball film to show you that a little (or sometimes ALOT) of faith is all you need to overcome your ego, clumsiness, diabetes and a pending court case in which the judge sentences you to 90 days in jail for speeding unless you can teach a motley crew of middle schoolers how to win on the field...and off...or are they teaching him?

A very funny and heartwarming film with a wonderful comedic turn from Joel DeVisser as Jordan Gabriel, a meat head hunk of a quarterback whose on the verge of signing his biggest contract ever. That is until he speeds and the judge offers him an ultimatum, go to jail for 90 days and lose his new contract signing or coach a team of middle schoolers to the championship baseball game! What would you do?

With the help of his team of underachievers, the diabetic kid's mom, the evil judge (or is he?) and Tim, Jordan just might hit a home run with what little faith remains in him after his dad (Cobb International Film Fest Award Winner Corbin Bernsen) walked out on him as a kid to become one of the greatest pitchers of all time. If he could only avoid falling off tables, walking into wooden posts and getting hit in the groin with helmets, and realize it's not what's in front of him, but what he's forgotten above him that will guide him home and keep him out of jail for 90 days for speeding.

Overall a great movie, just one exception
wingodsaysso31 May 2023
Overall, this movie was great. Excellent story and plot development with a wonderful message about forgiveness and being selfless. There were many points throughout the movie for people of all ages and backgrounds to relate to.

As always, Corbin Bernsen and Ashley Bratcher did an incredible job. The kids were cute and made the movie more fun for our kiddos to watch. The only negatives: Some of the acting was a little stilted at times but nothing too bad. Didn't appreciate having a family movie use a cheer that mentioned the word booty. That's the only reason I gave it a 9 instead of 10 star rating.
