This yarn, by Roy L. McCardell, proves a very pleasing one. The widow of the deceased millionaire tries to defeat the nephew and rightful heir by claiming she has a child. But the colored maid substitutes a black baby. The closing scenes in this prove laughable and it makes a good comedy offering. - The Moving Picture World, August 8, 1914
