This movie explains why people could benefit from Film school...
First off, let me say that I like to support independent filmmakers. Smaller movies are usually more interesting then high profile blockbusters. There is more room to tell a story and characters with dimension. Having said that, what the hell was the director of "Nerd boy" thinking? I took a chance at this movie after spotting the title at my neighborhood blockbuster, a decision which I now regret.
The movie was a comedy, but I didn't laugh once. The dialogue was awful, the actors horrible (especially TANK), and the movie never really reached a resolution.
Conclusion: nice try, but next time work on the script, get a more experienced casting agent, and throw more than $100 into your budget.
Class dismissed.
