- Mumbai-based Rahul Sharma bets on Zimbabwe's Cricket team and wins a very large amount. He decides to propose to his sweetheart, Nafisa, as well as open a resort. Shortly thereafter his life gets turned upside when he is told that he has Cancer and only 3 months to live. Without any warning he leaves Nafisa and checks himself into a nursing home and meets with assorted patients with a variety of fatal illnesses. Amongst them is Madhu - a prostitute; G. Parathasarathi - former banker; Padma - a 17 year old who has a crush on him; Govinda - a child with Godlike powers. He gets involved in their lives and even goes about trying to fulfill their last wishes. He gets close to Padma and both hang out together everyday, and hide each others' last wishes. - The story revolves around Rahul Singh (John Abraham), a compulsive gambler who wins Rs. 20 million from a bet and throws a party to celebrate. Everyone has a good time drinking and partying till late night during which Rahul proposes to Nafisa (Sonal Sehgal). He announces their engagement to all present, then collapses on the floor.
In hospital, he learns that he has only 90 days to live. Wanting to make the most of his last days, he leaves everything behind and moves into a soothing hospice. The inmates he meets change his outlook on life. As his relationships grow with each one of them, Rahul tries to rise above his own needs and live life to the fullest, learning from the courage of those around him.
The people he meets in the hospice add colour, both dark and bright, to his journey, which is one about love, hate, life, death and above all, hope.
