WOW

Talk about a ending!! I'm talking the whole final sequence. Right when Ivy take the stage... GET READY. I can't believe people are actually mad about the ending scene! It's from the comics! The source material!!

The final scene has been teased NUMEROUS times in the show! It's called character development! The whole show is about Harley getting over Joker and clearly that has been because of Ivy. The final 5 mins of this episode is phenomenal writing! This episode hits in all parts.. comedy, action, and the feels. Cmon guys you know the writers and gonna make a lot of jokes about "the scene". They make fun of everything! That's what I love about this show!

This is from a Republican, I don't care about the kiss, who cares! It's a TV COMIC BOOK SHOW. Just appreciate the show and it's writers! Can't wait to see where they go from here.

Amazing

Warning: Spoilers
What should I start with...we've got the charismatic character of Bane, famous villains like Victor Zsasz and Killer Croc, a funny premise which ultimately leads to a couple of very emotional moments, such as the commentary on Jim's alcoholism and the poignant dialogue between Harley and Ivy near the end. Great mix of comedy and drama, making this one of the best episodes of Harley Quinn

Great episode

Warning: Spoilers
From the hilarious trial sequence to the pit full of old favorites all the way to Ivy's speech this episode had some of the best bits of any episode of the show. Even the b story with Gordon and Barbara was pretty interesting and had a great action sequence.

Despite some whiners who will bemoan everything remotely outside their narrow worldview as some kind of pandering, the final minutes, the spectacular attempt to escape and the kiss, actually are great writing and the cumulation of the whole story so far. Harley has always been a sidekick and defined herself through Joker but she finally found someone who she truly loves and more importantly loves her back. And Ivy always knew that Harley was more than a friend. Her dating Kite Man was always portrayed as more trying to ignore this fact than true love.

Those now lamenting the show's apparent turn to "diversity" just because two women kissed (in 2020, gasp!), are well to remember that romantic feelings between Harley and Ivy are nothing new but straight from the source material.

One of the best episodes, brought down by a few things.

Warning: Spoilers
I thought this was the best episode so far in the series but a few things keep it from being the best. I think the set up for this episode was great. Having Harley and Ivy being stuck in the pit with Bane making absolutely hilarious jokes, and great callbacks to The Dark Knight Rises. The first scene in the court with Bane and Manbat was seriously too funny. Bane has consistently stayed one of the best and funniest side characters of this series. I was seriously laughing throughout most of this episode, and I rarely laugh at most comedy shows. I really liked the development all the characters got in this episode, but it felt a bit rushed. We get to see Ivy and Harley deal with potentially not being able to escape, and we get some good scenes between them. I loved seeing all the DC characters that are "redeemed" and how it plays with their personalities. Meanwhile we got to see Gordon finally develop thanks to Batgirl who reveals herself to him. It was a great moment and I thought the beating alcoholism montage was hilarious and a clever jab at many movies and tv shows that do that. However I have to say one of my problems with this episode is how easily Gordon takes the GCPD from two face. This show has never taken itself seriously and it's does have its fair share of plot convenience or contrivances, but I felt like this just felt too unrealistic and rushed. However it was really good development for Gordon. Meanwhile back at the pit Harley and Ivy devise a plan to escape, which fails but Ivy gives a great speech that really gave some insight to her character and had some good satire. Now there's chaos, Harley and Ivy try to escape but once again I feel like it's too convenient that there happens to be a plant there. It was an amazing character moment for Harley to let Ivy go, but it feels a bit cheapened. Finally the ending... Now it's obvious that Ivy and Harley were going to get together, but I think it was badly handled. Throughout the episode we got Ivy talking about how happy she was with Kiteman, and while it's clear Harley loves her, it hasn't been properly set up for Ivy. It just feels inconsistent for Ivy to do this and cheap. It could've easily been resolved if Harley did the kiss, but it was a mutual thing. Overall though despite those issues I thought this was one of the best episodes. Some strong development, hilarious moments, what more could you ask?

Been waiting for this since season 1

Warning: Spoilers
The moment I saw the first episode of the show I had a strong feeling they are going with the comic book story of Harley x Ivy. Although I don't know if it's exactly the way it was in the comics it still is cannon. Ivy sincerely loves Harley and helped her get out of an abusive relationship with the joker. I will not reveal a lot about their romantic relationship but I do hope they will continue with this path.

I do feel sorry for Kiteman though.

To those critics with less than 4 stars

Warning: Spoilers
Well, first, this episode was great. Bane steal the show and, somehow, achieve the impossible: actually rehabilitate some of Arkham most dangerous criminals (Zsasz and Killer croc for example).

And about the ending, in the comics Ivy and Harley are in an OPEN RELATIONSHIP. They´re both bisexual so the final scene is comic accurate. The magic in this chapter is that they didn´t shove it on our eyes the "diversity" (like someone said above) but create a credible paradigm. Both of them: 1- were with the adrenaline high, 2- scaping from death and 3- with affection of friendship for each other. If you put those together then you got an explosive and shockin kiss. The proof? Just see their faces after the kiss.

Just watch this chapter and enjoy it. One of the funniest ever. (Maybe the 5th funnier)

My least favourite episode.

Warning: Spoilers
Gonna be honest, I love the Harley Quinn show. It's really good and actually does a good job at showing Harley being a great villain...However, this episode is hands down my least my favourite. Let's get into what I liked...

I liked the Jim,Barbara and Two Face story. It's pretty good and it helps out Jim become a better man. I won't spoil this too much since I think this is the part where the episode shines. However, the other story (which is the main focus) isn't that good.

For some reason, The pit story felt like it was too slow (to me anyways) I also hate how this kinda ruins Harley goal in the series. I mean, I always thought the show was about Harley showing she doesn't need a love nor does she need to be a sidekick. She can be her own villain and actually run a crew and doesn't need a lover. However, this episode kinda ruins that. With the kiss. It feels like Harley goal has been ruined. My two favourite episodes this season have been Trapped and Thawing hearts. Those episodes really show that Harley is okay with Ivy marrying Kiteman and she's happy for them. Then in this episode, Ivy brings up about getting engaged to kite man, Harley says "name your children Harley" (Something like that) and there's more. Now, I'm not gonna say this is the worse episode ever. It's just one I didn't believe was that good. I will say that the kiss was a mistake was in the heat of the moment and that would make sense. However, if Harley gets with Ivy and Ivy leaves kite man. Then that won't be the greatest choice the writers did.

So, overall, a meh episode with an ending that makes me either afraid the writers might ruin the characters or the characters will grow even more and become better than they already are. I'm gonna give this episode a 7.1/10. Let's hope the writers don't make a bad choice that will derail the already good and smooth path the show is going on.

Also the George Lopez cameo alone is a 10/10. We need more of THE LOPEZ in this show. Wonder if Harley will ask him if he truly knows the low rider.

They dropped the ball on this

Warning: Spoilers
This wasn't a good episode. The point of their relationship was for Ivy to eventually see the good in him despite how he's seen on the surface. She reached a point where she genuinely wanted to marry him and have a life with him.

So kissing Harley like that out of nowhere is out of character. Hell, Harley kissing her knowing what her goal with Kiteman was is also out of character on her end in the context of the series. Worst of all, the ending is a massive contradiction to Ivy's character.

That was a badly written episode.
