A more sensible Street Fighter II
The comparisons are not only uncanny, I'm pretty sure that's Ryu and Ken standing in the background during one of the scenes. What sets Martial Champion a bit apart though is the ability to block well, good collision detection, and the ability to lose/pick-up weapons. In the arcade, I could go pretty far with Mahamba on just one quarter, especially if other people jumped in to play against. Last guy is a monster, never could make it past him dropping in coin.
There's a short little ending, not a whole lot of story to be told. Music and sound isn't special, but of the versus fighting games, this is one I tended to enjoy the most. Could've benefited from more distinguishing characteristics than the other fighting games.
