- Winnie the Pooh: Did you ever think how it must feel to be a flower living underground all winter, then coming up in the spring?
- Eeyore: Very uncomfortable. I shouldn't wonder.
- Winnie the Pooh: I like the puffy white clouds. Aren't they... that is... oh, my goodness. They've turned grey.
- Eeyore: Never trust a cloud, I always say.
- Owl: My, what a wonderful harvest.
- Winnie the Pooh: It's not a harvest, Owl. It's a pumpkin.
- Owl: See here. I know what a pumpkin is.

- Christopher Robin: I brought you a new calendar, Pooh. So you can experience the seasons again next year.
- Piglet: The seasons? What are they?
- Winnie the Pooh: Well, Piglet, you see...
- Winnie the Pooh: [sings] Spring's when the world awakens. / Summer is a time to grow. / Autumn is for getting ready / to be warm for the winter snow. / And we call these times of year seasons. / They repeat in their order round and round. / There's spring, summer, fall, and winter, last of all. / And that's what the seasons are about.
- Winnie the Pooh: [speaks] Just wait, Piglet. You'll see. Right, Christopher Robin?
- Christopher Robin: Right, Pooh. Silly old bear.
- [first lines]
- Christopher Robin: Hello, Pooh. This is for you.
- Winnie the Pooh: It's very... and then again... Christopher Robin, what is it?
- Christopher Robin: It's a calendar, Pooh. This way, you can keep track of the days, and weeks, and months, and the seasons.
- Winnie the Pooh: The seasons?
- Christopher Robin: Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. You'll see.
