Hands down in my top ten of all time. Just takes me away to a special place when I watch it and makes me think of nothing but WOW... Miyazaki has that effect on my brain a lot but this is a very very special title. Yes I am a bit harsh but it takes a lot to get a 10/10 outta me and 8 is very high.
Now I would love to see more of noface and understand a bit more of his background , yes I do get that he is just a very very dirty rich soul whom gets some of the best treatment around despite his demeanor , I am sure the gold helps a lot. But when he and Her are sitting on the train you see a total different softer side of him. I don't know why but that part has always kept me thinking am And opens up mind.
Anyways enough from me I could go on and on , let's just say if you haven't seen this and you're interested in Japanese lore or the culture and just want to see a good quality movie, not only for children, if at all. Then grab some snacks a few drinks use the restroom and don't miss a second if this beautiful told story of a girl on a mission and fending for herself the best she can. Then you have found your movie Spirited Away.
