All of the interesting story lines seem to have taken the day off:there are mentions of Kane and(very obliquely)Melody but most of this is concerned with lesser matters.There are a few dull Jack and Martha scenes that don't really advance anything-presumably we're supposed to deduce neither Jack nor Tony realises Rachel has known about Martha's pregnancy for yonks but it looks like several scenes have been removed. Rachel's sudden desire for children does indeed comes out of the blue and when was it established that Tony's had a vasectomy? We also see the Aden/Belle romance ignite despite a thudding lack of screen chemistry between the pair and it being the most ridiculously contrived coupling since, well, the last one probably.Yet again Geoff and Annie seem to be saying everything that the others are thinking but don't really want to admit to.
Charlie continues to make waves and come across as a bit irritating, although you can see her point of view(just).Morag's reaction to Ross accidentally saying he loves her is way cool.
