At the Night Club Larry and Ruth make the acquaintance of the couple from the strange photo, they recount how they'd met 'Larry' in his studio, and been paid for a job. Larry also talks to Luther Harris, the third name mentioned of Fletcher's card, perplexed he explains he'd never heard of Fletcher. Later, Adam gives Luther a key to collect a parcel, in it is a vast sum of money, and Larry is almost duped into giving it to a heavy.
A cracking episode, so many strong elements, the unravelling of the plot seems like it will be drip fed, with only small amounts unearthed, that is the case here. Some great new characters and twists, including Norma and Freda, their story is baffling, but it's told in a way that you just have to know the purpose of the photograph scenario. A great cliffhanger too, even at a young age Nigel Hawthorne made a great villain, he certainly adds to the story.
