Worth The Wait Absolutely Hilarious!

Warning: Spoilers
Rating:9.2

What We Do In The Shadows is the best sitcom that is currently airing. And this episode showcases all the series stetrenghts. After iGizmo I mean Guillermo kills almost all of the vampire council. The gang has to figured out what to do with him. The fights of the vampires where really funny especially nandor and Colin Robinson. Then we see Guillermo aka my favorite character it's really not in prison since he always finds a way to outsmart the vampires. The episode takes a twist and he get a cameo a great cameo of Taika Waitii that made the short that became a film then a series. And i believe the show is better than the film. They announce that the vampires will now rule some part of Staten Island. This episode was absolutely top notch. This season has the potential to be the best.

A good start to the season!

A bit too many poop jokes for my liking, but it was overall a very enjoyable episode and set the way for the ongoing plot nicely.

A good start to the season, it has been worth the wait to see the gang back again, one of the best sitcoms around and hopefully has many more seasons to follow !

YES! I'VE BEEN BITTEN AGAIN & AGAIN & AGAIN!

Because I had previously reviewed Season 1 and Season 2 of "What We Do in the Shadows," and (blushing here) absolutely loved it, I wanted to be sure to review WWDITS Season 3.

The pacing seems faster this time around, and the puns are more cutting. Count on this: Absolutely no momentum is lost going into season 3. Indeed, the opening episodes of season 3 confirm that the creators, Jemaine Clement and fellow New Zealander, Taika Waititi, have again upped the ante, daringly pushing the envelope without losing a single beat.

WWDITS stars Matt Berry, Natasia Demetriou, Kayvan Novak, and Mark Proksch as a found family of misfit vampires, plus the wonderfully funny Harvey Guillén as their loyal familiar, Guillermo de la Cruz.

Question: Will this season finally end the waiting for Guillermo to deservedly become a full fledged vampire?

More Raw Room Temperature Chicken
Hitchcoc8 September 2022
Guillermo is being kept in the dungeon. They are deciding whether to kill him or not since he killed two-thirds of the vampires in the region. He easily comes and goes because the four are just plain stupid. Since he killed nearly all of the vampiric council, a female vampire comes and tells them that they must assume the throne. The strength of these episode is the sincerity of the four vampires, especially Nando, as they try to do anything positive. They are really unable to handle even the slightest problem. When Guillermo leaves for the day, he cleans the place, and works without any gratitude toward him. At the conclusion, there is a great hook. They must decide which of the four of them will be head vampire.

a belated review

Warning: Spoilers
I'm having a blast watching this show in 2023. If you're also reading this in 2023, try not to get dissuaded by the ups and down as the vampire schtick gets a little thin and the attempts at humor get a stretched. Keep watching just for Guillermo's plotline. I absolutely howled at this episode. Room temperature raw chicken! And Guillermo's surname is...wait for it...Of The Cross. Well of course it is. Did he originally become obsessed with vampires out of an innate sense of his true calling? How long can he ignore/deny who he really is, just because it would be unpleasant to have to murder his murderous friends? This is a fun, seemingly trivial series that actually has an interesting and worthwhile core to it. Something about being true to yourself I suppose. The series will continue until Gizmo finally figures it out. Hope it takes him a long long time.

Episode 301

Warning: Spoilers
There were some laughs in this one, but way too much Guillermo. Any episode focused on him has a certain ceiling that can be reached.

Still, glad to have the show back.
