If you ever played Inside or Limbo or something like that. You're gonna love it. Its simplicity and melancholic atmosphere grab and absorbs you. You will get lost inside the game. It is one of the games you must try before you die. Hopefully we get to see STRAY 2.

The only negative is the small number of memories and hidden places. An addition about how the cat returns to his family or other cats looking for him in the "between the walls" biome could heighten the emotions of this story. Even in this form, this is the best thing since Rainworld

I was really saddened when the game ended. I had spent a few days playing it in the evenings and had enjoyed every second of it! One of my favourite games I have played. Very clever game with different puzzles and mysteries to discover, the cat and B-12 are super cute, too, lol. I love to be curious and I enjoyed the storyline and felt the game was very well made and not buggy.
Spoiler: However, the ending let me down a little. I expected the ending to show us the new outside and maybe even see the cat friends again.*
It is also very short if you aren't going to spend lots of time looking for secrets and discoveries.

This is definitely one of the best games I've played in a long time and considering it in my top five all time favorite games. It's very original and unique. I love the fact you play as a stray cat jumping and leaping from buildings to rooftops to items and shelves inside homes and businesses You can do other things like meow, drink water if there's any nearby ( not necessarily mandatory) and curl up into a bawl to sleep
The environment and main setting of the game and story is 'Walled City 99'. A highly condensed and dirty city with homes and business built right next to each other. In fact ' Walled City 99' is actually based on the real life Kowloon Walled City in Hong Kong also infamously or famously known as ' The City of Anarchy' where people all lived so close together for a number of years, businesses ( Most if not all were not fully licensed), clubs and even schools. Again dirty and like in the game, it was very hard to see the sky unless you were on the roofs of Kowloon
Kowloon was established in 1896 and destroyed in 1994. So Kowloon was the perfect inspiration for ' Walled City' in the Stray Game. Big difference is in the game no one ever sees the light of day and only artificial lights as the entire city had a massive roof over it. The place was created due to a cataclysmic event of the outside world and eventually all of the human race that survived ended up dead and all that was left were robot companions the humans made to keep them company
Again the environment is stunning and there's tons of areas to explore as a cat. Getting into every nook and cranny finding all sorts of stuff. There is some puzzles and a lot of stealth but relativity easy to figure out. Great game. Great story. Everything you could possibly want.

What an experience.
I've been waiting for this game since it was first announced - it was worth the wait.
The atmosphere is spot on, and the visuals are amazing. The story is awesome and gets you involved throughout the journey. The best and most unique part is that the game let's you play as a CAT! If you love cats like myself the game won't let down your expectations. It has all your stereotypical actions a cat loves to do (as in both the annoying things, and all the cute things).
Sadly, the game is a bit short, but it will keep you busy for a longer amount of time if you want to explore everything.
I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to explore something fresh and unique.

This is just what we all needed after the last few years of fails and half baked games, refreshing and unique in this market of cookie cut games, we play as the kitty (I call mine Jake) and omg I love the citizens! So well made a gem of a game! I want everyone to play it, I just wish it had a map, aside oif that love love love!!

To begin its a game I wished for its a beatiful but dark World it begins very strong with the story in my opinion. The graphics are beatiful even on ps4 the characters are perfect with a great backstory the Npc feels real with a small free roam were you can do everything you want. The story is very extensive with a very big message . And B12 the robot who stays with the cat through his adventure is great and a good addition. This must be game of the year no doubt.

At a certain moment of our entire gamer's lives, we had been fantasizing with the possibility of playing as any type of animal; and finally that game is here: STRAY. You play as a STRAY cat, who happened to get accidentally separated from it's pack; now with the help of B-12, a drone, they will try their best to return to the surface.
Final verdict: A very beautiful masterpiece, that will captive you from beginning to end.

But in this way you meet so many others who are desperate , lonely and helpless who find their hope in you now.they find what they couldn't do in you and help you to get what you want. Good but not great

It has a few bugs here and there. The framerate would drop occasionally. It crashed on me once. I played on PS4. Overall I like the game. The Cats mannerisms were great. The creatures weren't needed in my opinion. I didn't like the limited fighting experience it had. I would have much rather had lot more Cat based puzzles. I also thinks it really needs a minimap. At least when you're equipped with backpack and Drone sidekick. I'm sure there will be plenty of people who love it and some who don't. I just think it's good but not great.

After playing so many extremely action packed games, I wanted something like this. Yeah there might be some other games like this but it stands out to be different than others. Short gameplay makes me want more of it. But the number of features it has shows that giving too many features does not always mean the game is good too.
Overall the game is amazing, beautiful and just breathtaking.

As I have seen in the reviews I thought that this game is amazing for trophies hunters but hell no. Pls don't buy this if you go for trophies. There is a Trophie where you need to run away from zupes or smth and to not get caught. But this trophie is just impossible and with impossible I mean impossible. The developers got a bad day or something while making this achievement.
Even Though the game is probably a 0/10 if you go for trophies it's really enyoable overall. This game has many details and it's just looking absolutely fantastic. I have nothing else to say and I still need 14 words that's why I'm writing this by.

The game plays many sweet moments with great graphics and visuals. The story is well told with a few scary/creepy moments, great encounters with side characters and beautiful landscape. The story is short, but I enjoyed every moment of it! It gave of a very nice vibe, which got me addicted right away. If you like a sweet, visually pleasing and simple game, then this one is perfect for you!!

This is a completely fantastic game In my top video games of all time, I literally cried my eyes out at the end when b12 died with the sad music :( really emotional. The game has a unique story and the cat is just wayyyyy cute! I really liked b12 a lot and even cried for the cat too and especially the part where he was sleeping next to him. I've never been this emotional over video games since Kingdom Hearts.

Just to get it out. I love cats and this game has a stray cat in it. I played on PS4 and the only thing that affected was loading times when you died. Sorry, I managed to get a cat killed in a video game. I don't usually review video games here but had to in this case.
The graphics are good and in full HD I could notice the cat's individual hairs. The environment is a bit bleak but that's mostly because the game takes place mostly in a domed city.
Gameplay is great too but sometimes I got a bit frustrated with the jump thing. You have to look in the direction you're jumping to and if it's high surface like most are in the game you have to press x to jump. You could not jump any other way like in many other video games. Jumping was reserved for moving to different heights and x didn't do anything otherwise. You could meow whenever you wanted and triangle was interact button. R2 to run. Those are the basic things you need to know.
The problem I have with this game is that humans seem to just have vanished. The little robot tell you eventually about some plague that happened and viped out humanity in the city and the outside not being suitable for humans. The city is called Walled city 99. What about other cities? I also have a theory why the Companion robots act like humans. They're humans. The robots are trying to eat and drink. This only makes sense if they were used to it before. They also don't seem to be aware of being robots. The other robots at the end of the game act like actual robots. We also hear that the little bit is a human. The person uploaded themselves into a machine. Why couldn't other have don't that? I didn't get every memory so there that. Stray 2 anyone? There's a huge world and so meny opportunities for expansion.

Such a refreshment in the gaming department! So simple, without fleshy graphics or animations, yet so emotional, well made short story. An absolute 10/10 and for me GOTY candidate!
This story has everything - puzzles, drama, action, emotions, and the fact that the main character is actually a cat, it brings something new to the table. Cat sounds, animations and modus operandi are absolutely on point here, kudos to developers. I would be thrilled if a 2nd installment is on the cards for Stray!
Do I have any negatives? Yeah, onestly I would love if the game was a bit longer but short games have their own charm, and it isn't an issue with this one. Absolute masterpiece!

I never see the day we would have a game where we get to play as an animal. Stray is a great experimental game where you would literally play the game as a cat. Would I call it something amazing? Not really with the ending that can be a little rushed and doesn't really give much of a conclusion. But thankfully, there's a ton of things that would make the game worth playing. Of course, with a good structured story that is able to give a lot of character development, a nice gameplay style as how you're playing the cat, a unique gadget ability, fun puzzles, and astonishingly crafted graphics that creates a world for a player to explore. Have you ever wanted to play a game literally as a cat? This is worth playing for you, even for cat lovers. I wouldn't call it a perfect, but a lot of hope has came true for this game.

The environments are beautiful; so warm and welcoming despite the fact that the locations are rather drab. This is the perfect kind of game when you want to play something laid-back and relaxing, something that's not too strenuous on the mind.
I played this game in autumn in the evening. The weather is starting to get colder so I got all wrapped up and comfortable in a fleece blanket and played it through - it was a really cosy and cathartic experience.
Not really any negatives for me, other than the fact that some bits could be slightly tedious. But for the most part, I really enjoyed the ambiance and overall experience of Stray.

Stray, a must play for every gamer. It will provide you with a wide set of emotions. Like with most games, starting out is overwhelming, but early in the game you're introduced to a helper, with whom you can ask for a tip if you get stick, it's an ingenious idea. The helper always makes you feel like you can complete the game, because of this, each time you stop playing the game you are compelled to come back another time to continue the story. The story is where it shines, it's well thought out, and executed flawlessly. The graphics are very good, even though the game has some scary moments, the warm graphics seem to make the scares less scary, which just works so well with the story, a story of hope, that a cat and it's sidekick can save a city from its permanent lockdown. 10/10.

Simple and classic, but beautiful history. Two charming main characters. Very well detailed atmosphere, Great music. Very good job in small details. My only complaint (only in specific situations) is the camera position, but nothing catastrophic. The final is melancholic but great at the same time.

The plot seems very interesting to me, even at the end I was left wanting to know more of the story. Its dystopian world appeals to me too much, because it could predict so many of the things that could possibly happen in our world in the future.
I liked the idea of playing with a cat, the gameplay may not be the best or the most complex, but I was convinced by how simple it is to walk around and jump everywhere the map allows, enjoying incredible landscapes and parkour with a cat.
I hope they make a prequel and a sequel, I loved it very much, I got to have feelings for several characters and the story caught me completely, so I would like to see more.

I don't usually do reviews, but in this case I have to highlight this game, a work of art, from the beginning it is captivating, not only for its artistic graphics that are spectacular, but also for its atmosphere, its gameplay, the environment, the story, how the game makes us get in such a way that everything else disappears, a true masterpiece in all respects.
Also highlight the soundtrack and how it makes, together with the sounds, a total immersion into the world of Stray, and who doesn't like kittens?
The game also makes us aware of many things that can happen, of empathy and how there are connections that, although they seem impossible, can happen if the conditions are given. Beautiful!
