Brief yet rousing - worth a minute of anybody's time!
ianpegg8 August 2020
A brief yet rousing depiction of the struggle and suffering endured by the common man during the English Civil War. This formative historical event doesn't get the coverage it deserves in either the English education system or popular British culture. Finbow clearly seeks to redress this oversight with his evocative short film.

Exploring the work of the Levellers is all the more apt given the circumstances in which we find ourselves living in 2020. Here's hoping this film gets developed into a longer format to do this topic justice.

Explosive and leaves you wanting to be in the world even more - worthy festival winner

This is fantastic - saw it via an online short festival it won - think it was "Beyond the curve" - it all works - has an amazing energy and punch to it, very resonant with the current state of political agitation here. Would love to see how this expanded into a full movie but it somehow manages to draw you in, despite the short running time. Deffo worth a watch!

Beautifully shot and captivating. This exciting short film packs so many ideas and enthralling imagery into it. I'm very curious to learn more. But thrilled but what we were given. I'll be on the lookout for more by this filmmaker.
