The Nightingale Hospital holds a person of interest for Dalgleish, and one of its student nurses has a taste for minor blackmail.
Student Nurse Heather Pearce is very righteous on the surface, but scratch the surface, and she's a dangerous adversary.
It's one of my favourite Dalgleish stories, possibly my favourite, it's a great story, I love the hospital setting. It's surprising how little Marsden is actually in it, luckily the hospital story is so wonderfully interesting. Student Nurse Pearce is a terrific character, I'm a big fan of Deborah Findlay.
My interest was instantly grabbed when I saw the cast list, Joss Ackland, Liz Fraser, and Sheila Allen, but check out the student nurses, some real talent there. Allo Allo's Richard Marner is good, nice to see him in a role outside of the sitcom.
I haven't long watched Cover her Face, not one of my favourites, this one though is, great start 9/10.
