So gloriously old fashioned, but engaging.

One Student Nurse leaves, the others beginning doubting and accusing one another. Heather is painted as decent character by all, bar one.

It's such a good story, even though it's early days u am thoroughly gripped and engrossed in the story, it is very engaging, I feel the hospital setting has added something to it.

I'm still confused by some of the relationships, and would hope that they are explained, so we have a mother and daughter? Do we have lesbians working together? All will be revealed, hopefully.

I think I have a feeling who 'her' is, a surname was mentioned in the last episode, that seems to point to one person in particular.

I'm not sure if it was the mind of PD James, or the attitudes of the time, but it is so old fashioned, constantly explaining how awful it is to be a single parent.

Eleanor David and Joss Ackland continue to stand out for me.

RIP Pearce. 8/10.
