Kessler sarcastically mentions that the Kameradenwerk may have plans to capture Albert Speer, Hitler's chief architect and the Reich Minister of Armaments and War Production. As he accepted responsibility for the Nazi regime's crimes during the Nuremberg Trials, he was denounced by many of his former colleagues and other unrepentant Nazis. Although Speer was still alive when the episode was written and filmed, the 76-year-old died in London on September 1, 1981, more than three months before the broadcast.
