The T-shirt meme legend of the century is born.

Warning: Spoilers
Josh and Emily can't go to a spring break at Sand & Bone because Candice needs a robot tutor when she can't spell her name right. Candice needs to be smart, and not just be a cute girl. Alex and Bridgette go to Sand & Bone without the Singletons, who have an at-home vacation. Josh recodes Brainio and bypasses the advertisements so it will not take long for Candice to get the answers right and they can join Alex and Bridgette at Sand & Bone, but cheat coding over the advertisements comes back to bite them when a bigger version of Brainio, the robot tutor, steals their vacation condo room and forces them to watch ads forever. Luckily, Candice slips out and figures out how to spell "Self-Destruct" from Alex's Self-Esteem book from the beginning of the story, Brainio teaching her the letter D, and the funniest part, Josh's Estruct T-shirt. She rescues her family from the Brainio supercomputer, proves her worth in being smart, and finally spells her name right. I liked getting to see Alex's job as a college professor, but the subplot of seeing him come up with a gimmick to help his class and get hurt twice in the process learn was less interesting than I expected it to be. I liked the main plot of Josh's video game a lot more. The main character of his Dude Man game comes to life and teaches him to get in touch with his younger, 20-year old self so he can finish the game after the dude had a glitch. Josh and Dude Man do the widow maker motorcycle fire stunt that Alex was going to do, and choose that to be the final level of the video game. Josh learns that with Emily and Candice, he is not a failure and dreams can change, so he does not need to fulfill his original dream with Dude Man. Because Dude Man was a corrupting influence on Josh, he throws the Dude Man game into the fire pool and completes the motorcycle jump without Dude Man, which finally helped one of Alex's students learn about Kid Icarus. The concept of a pixelated video game character coming to life in Golden Gamer really reminded me of the Gravity Falls episode Fight Fighters, and you got to love how Candice's spelling of Self-Destruct in Robot Tutor was so influential, Estruct T-shirts became a real thing to sell about a month after this episode. It was the best joke in Close Enough because of how out-of-nowhere, yet cleverly silly it really was.

Was feeling 9 star rating at first but the Lebowski reference took it to a 10. Art.

First part was good, I liked the idea but second part started with potential and ended with nothing, not my favorite.
