A workman who has been discharged, is driven by circumstances to desperation. For the sake of his daughter he yields to temptation and commits an art repugnant to his better nature. Shame arouses his manhood and he determines to take a new road. This picture contains many interesting scenes, which have been finely produced. - The Moving Picture World, October 17, 1914
