Sex & Nudity

Violence & Gore

  • Plenty of action scenes throughout the show - shooting, punching, and explosions are all common. But it is almost never gory and when blood is shown it is never a lot.
  • Similar to it's predecessors, the series gets progressively darker and more violent. Stakes are raised and characters die more frequently.
  • Clones are tortured and experimented on by the empire.

Profanity

  • Absolutely no profanity in the first season.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • In Episode 10, The Imperial Governor Is seen drinking Wine.
  • The characters are primarily based in a bar on Ord Mantel, people are seen drinking and gambling in the background.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Each episode includes scenes where characters are in perilous situations. Most children can handle this, though.
  • It hasn't gone as dark as "The Clone Wars" so far, but it has some really intense moments (I'm writing this after premiere of episode 7).
  • One episode has large swarms of large bugs attack some characters. May frighten young children.
  • A young boy watches his mentor get killed. The mentor is shot a few times on screen, and we hear her final scream off screen.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • In one episode, a group of refugees and rebels are captured by troopers. A captive rebel is executed. A trooper protests against executing the refugees and is executed by his commander. The commander then orders the remaining troops to kill the refugees. Though the executions aren't shown it is still a very disturbing scene given the implied violence, including the clear use of a flamethrower.
  • A character is severely burned by an ion engine. He is later seen wrapped in bandages and in later episodes has a large, gruesome burn scar on the side of his head.
  • A main character is shot in the chest by a blaster bolt. No graphic injury is shown, but he spends the next episode injured and wrapped in bandages.
  • A clone is shot point blank in the head by an Admiral (off screen) and his body falls off a cliff.
  • An assassin is captured and commits suicide when questioned via shock device implanted in his tooth
  • A character is buried in an avalanche only to die of hypothermia later
  • S2 E12. Crosshair and a clone follow a blood trail in the snow leading to a body laying in a pool of blood. Nothing gory is shown just a small amount.
  • Season 2 has continuous scenes and themes of medical experimentations, which does include pain and torture for some clones. This can be upsetting to watch.
  • Tech's death may be upsetting to some
  • The batch fight a Sarlac like monster, when fighting it they use blades to slice off tentacles. Lots of black colored blood is seen spraying from the severed tentacles.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Innocent civilians are killed by flamethrower. This isn't shown on screen but we can hear it. One of the darker scenes of the show.
  • A character falls under mind control due to an inhibitor chip, and chokes, beats and nearly kills his brothers.
  • In Season 2, a character is tortured via an interrogation droid on screen multiple times. It could be frightening for younger viewers.
  • In the Season 2 finale, Tech sacrifices himself. This can be quite emotional for fans of the character.
