Recently hailed by CBC as one of the top 10 soulful female artists in the 2020 CBC Searchlight competition, Bukola Balogun is an 18-year-old musician who blends the sounds of contemporary R&B and Jazz music to create her own soulful sound. The grand prize winner of the Nimbus Battle of the Bands competition, Bukola has since performed at the J?uno pre-show Let's Hear it. Live and has been interviewed by CBC and the Metro Vancouver Newspaper. Bukola has recently been working with Grammy award-winning producer, Chin Injeti, and Juno award-winning producer Ben Kaplan on her debut EP which is set for release this fall. Etienne Siew crafts his music from the beauty of the West Coast and the forests of B.C, where he often spends his time fishing, hiking or canoeing. Cancer survivor Sarah Wheeler is defined by her powerhouse vocals, an indomitable positive spirit and blazing live performances. She has released three records, played in Tanya Tagaq's band, recorded with A.C. Newman, appeared in the film "Aim For The Roses" which frequently airs on CBC, and played live with Dan Mangan. Her musical heritage flows from her grandfather who played piano with Nat King Cole. Wheeler's own music combines strong melody and a message of positivity as a beacon in dark times.
