Mary's parents Horace and Jenny have come over to celebrate Peter and Mary's 15th wedding anniversary. Horace feels Peter overworks Mary and mistakes Wilma's back medicine for Mary's. The meddling Horace makes Peter think Wilma is covering for Mary. Peter mistakes Dr. Travers' (Nelson Olmsted) advice for Wilma to stop dancing and rest for Mary. Horace once again decides for Peter when a reporter (Jered Barclay) calls and he tells him the act is splitting up. Peter indeed breaks up the act and Mary seems glad to be a housewife again. His agent Lou Porter (Herbert Ellis) quickly lines up a replacement- the gorgeous Kim Mallory (Terry Huntingdon). When Lou brings Kim over, Horace begins regretting what he's done. However, a series of details begin revealing themselves.
