Peter's agent Lou Porter (Herbert Ellis) tries to talk him into doing an international tour. Peter turns it down, wishing to become more settled in Oakdell. At a party, Peter can't fit in with the men wishing to form a committee to have the city create an additional high school. His comedy wears thin with the three men on the committee, as he takes on the secretary role. The incident makes Peter reconsiders to accept the foreign tour. Mary works to smooth things out.
