- Eric tries to make a deal for 2 new clients. Drama does whatever it takes to keep his relationship with Jacqueline. An old flame returns to Vince.
- Vince and E read scripts all day to select their next project. They have selected 4 scripts, but 3 of them already have A-list actors lined up against them. Only 1 script is yet available for Vince, called "Nine Brave Souls". Eric offers to represent LB and Nick (Giovanni Ribisi), two writers of an indie film script, but can't get them Vince or any help from Ari given their recent bad luck with indie films. LB & Nick have sent a terrific script (its about 9 firefighters, set on the night before the biggest fire they have ever fought) that Vince also loves, but Ari won't let them do another indie film. Ari tells Vince to wait & bide his time for a studio offer. Ari promises Vince that things will be better if Vince follows Ari's advice. Ari says that they need to wait for the stench from Medellin to disappear. They need to start from scratch. Vince agrees to follow Ari's advice this time.
Ari tells Mark Walberg (when they play golf together) that Vince's chances of success are about 50-50 right now.
E heads out to meet LB and Nick to sign them on as clients. But they are only interested in Vince for their movie. E is clear to them that Vince only will do a studio movie. Yet, LB & Nick decide to hire E to find a buyer for their script. Ari wont help E (Ari says he will only ever share a single client with E, not more), so E meets Amanda (Carla Gugino), who is surprised to see E walk into her office. Amanda agrees to read the script for old times sake.
An encounter with former flame Justine Chapin (Leighton Meester), leads to an invitation to her party. Justine is celebrating the completion of her new video. This leaves Vince even more insecure when Justine pawns him off to another girl at a party. Vince walks out of the part & Straight to Ari's office. Vince says that he came from Mexico ready to work and yet Ari has told him that he cannot work. Ari gives him the cold, hard truth (that Vince doesn't play the game, he doesn't care about his career, doesn't act like he cares for anyone other than himself), Vince finally decides to step it up. He asks Ari to set up any meeting, directors, producers, studio execs and he will charm them off.
Drama's relationship with Jacqueline takes a bad turn. Jaqi is very possessive about Drama and wants an account of every moment he spends in the day and where. Drama thinks Jaqi thinks that he is cheating on her (when nothing of the sort is going on). Then Drama tries to call her back multiple times & Jaqi doesn't pick up. Now Drama gets the idea that Jaqi lied to him & she is out partying, while he is worried sick about her. So, he leaves a nasty message for Jaqi. Finally Jaqi returns Drama's calls and tells him that she was at a hospital attending to her friend, who was in an accident. They break up.
Vince walks back into the party, walks up to Justine & asks her to have fun with him. she agrees and they hook up.
