Satisfying finale = best episode of season 3

While I was (still am) disappointed with the whole of S3, I have to admit the creators of The Rain made it up to some extent with this last episode.

Actually they surprised me a bit, not so much plot-wise as the manner E.6 played out. Neat and focused, well acted as usual and reasonable logical (as far as sci-fi logic goes).

P.S. (= mild spoiler) Having complained about poor soundtrack choices in my reviews of previous episodes, I guess I must add one thing: the song played in the end ("Majesty" by Norwegian epic band Madrugada) is nothing less than perfection!

Not a good ending.

Simone became as annoying as ever in the end. Patrick and Martin were two of the best characters on the show. I love how Patrick took care of Fie. Too bad Martin died. Unfortunately, he was in love with Simone and this new guy is doomed also if there is a season 4. Rasmus became such a annoying brat at the end. I was so happy to see him die. Overall I give this episode a 3. Season 1 was the best. The show went down hill in season 3. Just awful.

I wish the writers would have explored more about Kira's story. She was so much more interesting and more likable than Simone ever was. I thought Kira and Patrick would have been a perfect match since both had little tolerance for fools.

Last season was ok, not more or less. The flower killed the virus, and the new beginning starts. I liked it, Perfekt ending music Madrugada with majesty, one of my top ten songs on my list.

How is this a finale?????

What just happened??? First season every episode took its time and not a lot of things happen. But now, in one episode over 1 million even happens and it destroys the show! 2 main characters dies in one episode! And with no good reason! They just wanted to end it. If Netflix leaved the show without a 3rd season and ended it with season2 events it would be a lot more convincing.

Whilst I definitely expected things to end the way they did, the way it all played out was interesting. In my opinion it was a solid ending which let me feel relieved for some characters who had been going through a lot of torture/hopelessness throughout the series. It was a pretty fast-paced episode with not a lot of filler which is great for a finale. Many shows seem to mess up endings either by taking big risks or going for shock value. Thankfully The Rain has a fitting, but effective ending.

As per usual for The Rain some parts were predictable, but the action and drama are still entertaining.

Poor ending

They literally ruined everything they have built over the seasons. What is the point of this ending? Simone was trying to find a cure to save Rasmus but instead of science, a flower out of nowhere became his death and we even didnt get to learn where that flower came from. Well, sorry not sorry but that final season felt way too rushed, could've been better.

Really bad ending

Unfortunately, really bad ending. The whole show is pretty good build up until season 3. It's to fast paced, many things happens in a short time of periods and this show deserved a better ending.

Whyy???

I'm empty after this final ending. Why are two big characters dead and without a real closure? It made me more sad than hopeful after. Maybe everything went to fast and should have processed better. Martin should have lived!!
