This is a rather unconvincing newspaper yarn, in which the girl flirts with a newspaper reporter on a bet. Later her brother is caught cheating at cards and she makes an appeal to the newspaper man to save his name from unwelcome publicity. The scenes in the editorial room were dramatic, but scarcely true to conditions in the average newspaper office. The film suffers from static light rays. - The Moving Picture World, April 19, 1913
