It's not bad as they are showcaseing above. The Plots have some necessary wholes but it's one time watchable. Brightside is it's not a masala movie. It had potential but couldn't utilized properly. Stepping stone for this kind of moves. Hope it will inprove by time.

Not bad at all for OTT viewing.
nadkarnisumeet19 September 2020
The RAW agent tracking that source is bumped off and so his fellow associate Uma (Mouni Roy) is on to it. Suspecting the work of a mole within, Uma seeks help of the Indian Ambassador to UK, Nirupama (Kulraj Randhawa) even as more honey traps and murders take place.
Created by S. Hussain Zaidi, London Confidential works more like a whodunit than a true blue espionage thriller. Every time Uma gets close to a suspect, he or she is bumped off (needlessly) and the needle of suspicion shifts to another fellow. In this way, half the supporting cast is either kidnapped or killed.
Set in picturesque London city, the film passes muster on the technical front but doesnt engage you the way a spy thriller should. The culprit lies in the casting. Mouni Roy doesn't suit the lead role she's saddled with. Purab Kohli looks utterly unconvincing as a RAW officer.
The surprise element of the film is Kulraj Randhawa playing Nirupama who not only looks gorgeous but delivers a graceful performance. Hoping to see her in more films now.
London Confidential is not at all bad for an OTT viewing. The limited run time of just one hour fifteen minutes with no song dance routine works in its favour.
Engaging but empty!!

The movie felt engaging and no nonsense. Everything was going smooth until the end. It just ended abruptly and felt like missing the thrill it promised. The ending left me wanting more from the story. The movie felt empty because of how it ended so easily without much suspense.

Good concept, short, tight; suspense ruined by poor direction

No, this review does not contain a spoiler; amateurish direction contains it.
Good, nice story, short (1:17) movie, avoids distractions like songs and extraneous characters. Actors have all done a very good job and feel natural. Kudos to the team for pulling this off in Covid times. I have added an extra star just for their tenacity and dedication that allowed them to get this done in these trying times (Covid-19 outbreak is still raging as I write this).
Story does have some weaknesses (this is not a Neeraj Pandey movie) and slip ups but you can ignore them as this is just a movie. But the director has ruined the mystery by over-hinting. Even after knowing whodunnit, you still do feel like watching the movie to see how everything fits in place. But don't go expecting a mystery.

It is a lame espionage thriller with a dull plot. Mouni Roy gave an average performance and Purab Kohli was unconvincing as a RAW agent.
None of the supporting casts done justice to their character. Action sequences are not well choreographed. Ewan Mulligan's cinematography is good.

The clock is ticking and a catastrophe seems inevitable

London is bracing up for hosting an international conference on virology, and a RAW agent Biren Ghosh is hoping to obtain confidential information about a bio warfare that's about to be unleashed by the Chinese. He expects to obtain the details on the day of the conference from an unnamed source travelling with the Chinese contingent. Just a week before the event, Biren goes missing and then his dead body surfaces. But before dying, he has activated his colleague Uma (Mouni Roy) to take charge and avert the disaster from happening.
Uma has to collaborate with Arjun (Purab Kohli) to continue with the investigation as she has no idea about who the source is and how she should meet the person. All she has at hand is a framed landscape painting that contains a few Chinese characters written. As Uma digs further, she is convinced that there's a mole at the Indian Embassy as her moves are thwarted by some unknown forces and even Arjun faces several physical assaults. The Indian ambassador Nirupama (Kulraj Randhawa) wants results and identification of the alleged mole, but remains patient with Uma despite the latter's tottering investigation amid more dead bodies turning up.
London Confidential is a roller coaster spy thriller of just 77 minutes that keeps the viewer at the edge of the seat. The subject is contemporary and the director Kanwal Sethi keeps the espionage proceedings focused. Written by S Hussain Zaidi, the film creates intrigue, drama and suspense galore, of course with a few red herrings thrown in from time to time, so that you don't see the end coming. The unravelling of the mystery has its novelty value and gives London Confidential a professional finish. It's sleek, modern, quickfire and gripping till the end. Mouni Roy, Purab Kohli and Kulraj Randhawa are all spot on with professional performances without much melodrama.

I puked after watching the movie

The movies revolve mainly around 2-3 characters Uma Played by Mouni Roy and Arjun Played by Purab Kohli, Mouni Roy is good and Purab Kohli is brilliant, other actors like Pravesh Rana and Sagar Aarya were decent, Mouni Roy lost sometime during some tough scenes, she needs to improve a lot for the serious role like this.
The movie was said to be a spy thriller, but there is nothing thrill in it, the climax is good but for 40-50 minutes the movie doesn't give any thrill or suspense, the villain is very much predictable, you can the guess the villain if you had watched these kinds of movies, overall the plot of the movie is very dull.
Overall
I'm gonna go with the 2 stars for the movie, trailer of the movie was promising but the whole movie fails miserably, the best part of the movie is its duration it's very short and you can finish the movie in less than one hour. The movie has some bold scenes, so avoid watching with family and kids.

Average entertainer on Zee5

A spy thriller (that was not gripping enough) set in London. Could have been more attractive without use of grey filter. I had to frequently pause to read hindi subtitles for Chinese dialogues.
Overall=average; glad that it was short
Worse than even Salman Khan s worse movies.

Don't ruin your 1 hour 17 mins watching this one. Even rashi s cooker and chane story was more suspenseful then this one. Dumb acting, dumb logics and seriously that scene where purab kohli fights the Chinese guy (a tai chi expert) and kills him in seconds with dumb action scenes. Another stupid show by zee5 and 9.9 rating is just from the staff of this show . I could have given it 0 but IMDb does not allow it.

A possible web series ended as a web movie
Indian_Analyst7 October 2020
From the beginning, the following assumptions can be made about the film.
1) This was supposed to be a web series. But the shooting ended due to COVID. So they turned it into a film.
2) The initial talk about COVID was purposefully made to increase our interest further. The original story seems to be something else.
Now talking about the film I can say that it is a decent one time watch. However the format can not be compared with the usual spy thriller film (as mentioned it matches with a web series). The makers were able to portray the real boring nature of espionage (as mentioned by espionage professionals in their biographies). And fighting sequence are felt quite natural and original. In addition, the casting and their performance is good.
For a fault we can say the following. 1) Sometimes we may feel that the character Uma Kulkarni was modelled after Angela Burr (of BBC TV Series, The NIght Manager, portrayed by Olivia Colman). 2) A usual spy thriller movie buff could easily point out who the villain is, from the very beginning.
