When Restarick dresses himself at the facility, the buttons of his shirt change from mismatch to match to mismatch again.
Two policemen take off their jackets and wade into the lake to try and save Brian Cox. They are both wearing shirts of the same pale blue. Just after the DS (Sean Hughes) shouts "Hurry up lads!" they are shown from behind and still only knee deep in water. But now the one on the left has a dark blue shirt, just as if he had already been up to his neck in water.
Around 43 minutes Wally Hudd is being took away by the police and his wife is arguing with them and protesting his innocence. In the background Johnny Restarick Is talking with a prison guard or inmate. He has a leather bound bottle in his hand , says "what fresh hell is this!" And offers the bottle to the guard, who takes it and takes a swig. The camera pans to the argument then back to them. The bottle has now changed to a silver hip flask with flip top.
The charred accounts letter has the year 1953, however in the intro, a morris minor convertible has a registration plate with year suffix letter E - which was 1 January 1967 - 31 July 1967.
