This episode does a horrible job of actually depicting special needs classes, every character who gets put in the special needs class are put there because they are stupid and fake neurodiversity, and learning disabilities, and most of the adults are so condescending towards the kids, and infantilize them to a ridiculous degree. The adults pity the children and treat them like toddlers, the only thing the kids do in class is finger paint and the class is treated as a daycare, special needs classes still do school work like any other class, i would say this episode aged badly but even in 2007 this was still just as insulting.
