Eddie and Bill get into another racial discussion at the Jubilee Social Club, ending with the latter threatening a 'black' revolution before storming off. When a crate marked 'Bananas' and addressed to Bill turns up, Eddie thinks it must be full of guns. But when he opens it, it turns out to be full of...bananas.
There is something else in there as well. Deciding to keep the bananas for himself, Eddie cheerfully munches away in bed while something moves up the eiderdown. A tarantula no less...
Once again Eddie falls under the spell of voodoo as Bill tricks him into thinking he has been bitten by the spider and is going to die. When the undertaker ( Harry Littlewood again ) appears it is clear we are watching a remake of the 'Nearest & Dearest' episode 'The Danger List'. The spider looks about as realistic as the rat in the biscuit tin in 'Fawlty Towers'.
Eddie is only in bed because he wants to impregnate Joan again, seeing propagation as the only hope for the white race. But she is wise to him and tells him where to get off.
Jumoke Debayo returns as Barbie's cousin Linda.
Funniest moment - Eddie realising the spider in his hand is real!
